In what some commentators have called a “seismic shift” towards renewable energy, the World Bank has announced it will stop funding oil and gas projects starting 2019. 

“In exceptional circumstances, consideration will be given to financing upstream gas in the poorest countries where there is a clear benefit in terms of energy access for the poor and the project fits within the countries’ Paris Agreement commitments,” the World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, clarified his institution’s position.
Does that mean that the millions of clunkers polluting world’s cities and causing global temperature to raise will be denied license plates? How about all those airplanes shuttling people and cargo and dumping millions of tons of CO2 in the atmosphere along the way, will they be required to switch to LNG or else? The real question is, is there a force to crush the pollution caused by indiscriminate money printing by Central Banks in support of the so called “global economy”? When will mankind awakens to the realization that the creation of “mega billionaires” by a one dimensional Keynesian experiment  of banking charlatans is clear and present danger to us all?
Good try Mr. Kim, but the answer is “no”. Only a good size stock market crash will flush the economic system out of all morons and sends us all to a stable and pollution free recovery.
