“Our current libel laws are a sham and a disgrace and do not represent American values or American fairness, so we’re going to take a strong look at that. We are going to take a strong look at our country’s libel laws so that when somebody says something that is false and defamatory about someone, that person will have meaningful recourse in our courts. Scientists said they have detected thick ice deposits of “nearly pure ice” using images from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on slopes near the surface of the planet that could be used for drinking water or producing oxygen or methane in support for astronauts future human mission to the red planet.

“It was surprising to find ice exposed at the surface at these places,” said Colin Dundas of the US Geological Study, who led the study. “In the mid-latitudes, it’s [ice] normally covered by a blanket of dust or regolith [loose bits of rock on top of bedrock].”

“Victims always have to come first in this. When [the motel] shut down, it was a great feeling because we knew there’d be no more trafficking that would go on at that location,” Forys said. “For me personally, and my agency, we see that as a pretty large victory.”

Sinaloa Cartel cell leader Damaso Lopez-Serrano, 29, of Culiacan, Mexico aka “Mini Lic,” pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine following his self-surrender to U.S. law enforcement authorities at the Calexico West, Mexico Port of Entry on July 27, 2017. 

Lopez-Serrano accepted responsibility for his role as a leader within the Sinaloa Cartel for the transportation and distribution of thousands of kilograms of controlled substances for importation from Mexico into the United States, and admitted to possessing firearms for the purpose of promoting the Sinaloa Cartel’s narcotics trafficking activities. 

“Damaso Lopez-Serrano’s conviction strikes a serious blow to the leadership of the Sinaloa Cartel and its violent drug trafficking activities,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Cronan. “The Administration, the Department and our law enforcement partners are steadfast in our commitment to pursuing and dismantling the international drug rings that poison our communities.”

Hundreds of U.S. immigration agents flooded out to nearly 100 7-Eleven convenience stores nationwide, arresting 21 people suspected of being in the country illegally and giving owners a tight deadline to prove other employees are authorized to work.

“Today’s actions send a strong message to U.S. businesses that hire and employ an illegal workforce: ICE will enforce the law, and if you are found to be breaking the law, you will be held accountable,” ICE Deputy Director Thomas Homan said in a statement.

A Bosnian man named Jovo Asentic, 65 residing in Chicago, who served as an officer in the Bosnian conflict during the 1990s, was deported by deportation officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) for his failure to disclose his service in the Army of Republika Srpska Zvornik Brigade from 1992 to 1996. 
Court evidence indicated that he was on duty in July 1995 in an area blocking escape routes during the Srebrenica genocide, where 7,000 to 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys were killed by Bosnian Serb forces.

Alt-right superstar Steve Bannon, the mysterious “conservative brain” hailed as the mastermind behind President Donald Trump’s victories, was forced to step down from his post at Breitbart due to pressure from not only Trump supporters, but also powerful “string pullers” from the wealthy Mercer family.

5…………> Training For War: PLA Air Force

Air Force of the People’s Liberation Army of China has carried out real combat training, with the involvement of the J-20 stealth fighter and the Y-20 military transport aircraft, according to a military statement.

The J-20, China’s fourth-generation medium and long-range fighter jet, made its maiden flight in 2011 and was officially commissioned into military service in September 2017.

Several new fighter jets including the J-16, J-10C and H-6K bombers were also included in the training, the statement said.

The training is aimed at improving the air force’s capability to win battles, it said.
