4…………> Baja Del Sur: Violence Spiral
The state of Baja California Del Sur has fallen prey of a spiral of bloodshed during the past 12 months, sparked by a broader underworld upheaval involving two of the country’s most powerful crime groups, leading to a jump of the murder rate from 50 murders per year to 151, becoming one of Mexico’s most deadly on a per-capita basis.
Much of the violence has been associated with places like Juárez and Acapulco, where videos of a deadly gun battle that lasted half an hour in the state capital La Paz were uploaded to the internet, leading to the arrest of five members of a criminal group for possession of an arsenal of high-powered weapons and tactical gear. The killings have been accompanied by surges in other illicit activities associated with organized crime, such as extortion.

5…………> Falling In Love: Geek Squad & FBI
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the US Department of Justice in 2017 into the relationship between the FBI and Geek Squad, accusing it of flagging illegal material in computers they were repairing that was then used by the FBI in arrests and prosecutions — a violation of the Fourth Amendment right of Americans to avoid unlawful searches and seizures of their property.
The documents detailed an incident during which a Geek Squad employee called the FBI after finding what he believed to be child pornography on a laptop he was repairing. The FBI reviewed the content to see if it was indeed child porn, then seized the hard drive and retrieved a warrant to search the device from there.

6…………> Free To Roam: Denver Illegal
In continuation of the infamous treachery of Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf warning to murderous illegals aliens to skip town due to incoming ICE raids, now the Denver Sheriff Department refused to detain an undocumented immigrant named Ivan Zamarripa-Castaneda, 26, who was arrested on Sunday in connection with a fatal hit and run that caused crash between a semi-truck and a pickup truck on Interstate 70, killing the driver of the semi and igniting a fire that closed the roadway in both directions for several hours.
But Denver stopped honouring detention requests from ICE in 2014, and ignored ICE agents demands and refused to hand Zamarripa-Castaneda over to the Federales.
