The treatment of recent news reveals an essential chasm in 2018 America: the concerns of Mainstream Media vs. those of Main Street USA.

“[H]ardworking Americans throughout flyover country live and know a very different reality of an optimistic, growing, and resurgent America under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump.”

Far from New York newsrooms and the Georgetown salons of Washington lobbyists, Americans grasp the reality of a stronger and more prosperous country. For example, CNBC reports that total American home equity just hit an all-time high of $5.8 trillion of aggregate net value. The average homeowner with a mortgage saw accessible investment grow $14,700 over the last year and now has $113,900 available to draw upon.

But, the even better news lies in the details. Unlike the 2007-era housing price boom, consumers are managing their debt prudently today, and middle-class families do not feel pressed to use homes as ATMs to pay bills. For example, despite the significant appreciation in home equity, only 1.17 percent of available capital was tapped in the first quarter of 2018, the lowest amount in four years.

This housing optimism reflects the strong underlying growth of the Trump Boom, which registered 4.1 percent GDP growth for the second quarter, with the Atlanta Federal Reserve’s live statistical model now forecasting a 4.3 percent rate for quarter three. Within that overall heady expansion, small business, in particular, is thriving amid reduced federal tax and regulatory burdens.

A fire broke out at 1,300-year-old Lhasa’s Jokhang Monastery, one of the holiest sites for Tibetan Buddhism.

“The fire was quickly extinguished, there are no casualties and order is normal in its environs,” local media said on its WeChat account.

The streets around the monastery was temporarily closed after the fire and but have been reopened to pilgrims, the state Xinhua news agency reported.

Hardly two days after a suicide bomber driving an ambulance laden vehicle penetrated two security checkpoints in Kabul killing at least hundred and injured many more people, Marshal Fahim National Defence University in the Afghan capital of Kabul  was targeted by five jihadists, two of whom blew themselves up, two were killed in fighting and one was captured, according to the defense ministry. 

Militants were armed with rocket-propelled grenades and automatic rifles, leading to the death of 11 soldiers in the attack Kabul, a witness reported.

Stock market old timers have said that “you buy the rumor, and sell the news”, and that is exactly what is happening right now, with Democrats screaming murder as a close look at the new tax bill indicates that states like California and New York who have been leading the fight to dethrone or impeach Trump may be in for a nasty surprise with the mortgage deduction for state and local taxes set at only $10,000 per return, leaving millions of mansions above $500,000 with a hefty uptick in mortgage payment, a sure prelude to a crash.

As the dollar goes down, we have to wait and see if the new Fed Chair Jerome Powell will continue pressuring gold and the Eurasian block with it down below $1000/oz in an economic WW3. Watch sell stop at 26,100. We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempts to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects. The House Intelligence Committee voted to release a classified memo circulating in Congress that purportedly reveals government surveillance abuses, with the vote announced to reporters by grim faced California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the committee, who called it a “very sad day, I think, in the history of this committee.”

President Trump now has five days to decide whether he has any objections before the memo can be publicly released.

Is the crack in the “Deep State” McCain/Clinton parallel US government septic tank foreshadowing more “mutton heads” to roll soon, starting with deeply hated deputy AG Rosenstein and many of his co-conspirators in DOJ and the FBI?
