The Islamic Merkeldom of Germany, is approaching 100,000 confirmed cases, as Russia’s Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) said that is has developed a treatment for COVID-19 based on the drug Dalargin, and clinical trials of the treatment are getting underway, the agency’s press service stated on Monday.

Prime Minister Mr. Boris Johnson has been moved to intensive care in hospital after his corona-virus symptoms “worsened”, 10 Downing Street has said, moved on the advice of his medical team and is receiving “excellent care”, has asked Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to deputize “where necessary”.

The prime minister, 55, was admitted to hospital in London with “persistent symptoms” on Sunday evening:

“The prime minister has been under the care of doctors at St Thomas’ Hospital, in London, after being admitted with persistent symptoms of corona-virus. Over the course of [Monday] afternoon, the condition of the prime minister has worsened and, on the advice of his medical team, he has been moved to the intensive care unit at the hospital. The PM is receiving excellent care, and thanks all NHS staff for their hard work and dedication.”

Chancellor Rishi Sunak said his thoughts were with the prime minister and his pregnant partner, Carrie Symonds, and that Mr Johnson would “come out of this even stronger”.(BBC)

US President Donald Trump has labelled a Russian nationalist group as a terrorist organization, in the first time the US government has applied the label to a white supremacist group:

“These actions are unprecedented,” said Nathan Sales, assistant secretary of State for counter-terrorism about “The Russian Imperialist Movement”, believed to have offered military training to neo-Nazi fighters, aided election interference in the US, and also clearly negating “the racist accusations” on Mr. Trump, who  has previously been criticized for failure to do more about the threat of white supremacy.

The terror designation gives the US government authority to block Americans from providing material support or engage in financial dealings with such groups, authorizing the Treasury Department can block any American assets belonging to a named terrorist group, and its members can be prevented from entering the US.

Domesticated house cats are also able to pass the virus on to members of their species, but not very easily, said Hualan Chen, a lead researcher of the paper which was published in the “bioRxiv” scientific journal on March 31. The study has found that ferrets and cats can be infected with COVID-19, and can also pass the virus on to members of their species — under laboratory conditions. There is less risk with other domesticated animals.
