1…………> Today’s White House Tweets: President Trump

….in Argentina with President Vladimir Putin. I look forward to a meaningful Summit again as soon as this situation is resolved!

Based on the fact that the ships and sailors have not been returned to Ukraine from Russia, I have decided it would be best for all parties concerned to cancel my previously scheduled meeting….

Billions of Dollars are pouring into the coffers of the U.S.A. because of the Tariffs being charged to China, and there is a long way to go. If companies don’t want to pay Tariffs, build in the U.S.A. Otherwise, lets just make our Country richer than ever before!

When will this illegal Joseph McCarthy style Witch Hunt, one that has shattered so many innocent lives, ever end-or will it just go on forever? After wasting more than $40,000,000 (is that possible?), it has proven only one thing-there was NO Collusion with Russia. So Ridiculous!

Did you ever see an investigation more in search of a crime? At the same time Mueller and the Angry Democrats aren’t even looking at the atrocious, and perhaps subversive, crimes that were committed by Crooked Hillary Clinton and the Democrats. A total disgrace!

General Motors is very counter to what other auto, and other, companies are doing. Big Steel is opening and renovating plants all over the country. Auto companies are pouring into the U.S., including BMW, which just announced a major new plant. The U.S.A. is booming!

So much happening with the now discredited Witch Hunt. This total Hoax will be studied for years!

Sebastian Gorka, a very talented man who I got to know well while he was working at the White House, has just written an excellent book, “Why We Fight.” Much will be learned from this very good read!

2…………> No To Putin Provocation: Trump

President Donald Trump canceled a planned meeting with his Russian counterpart Friday on the margins of the upcoming G20 summit in Argentina, citing ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

“Based on the fact that the ships and sailors have not been returned to Ukraine from Russia, I have decided it would be best for all parties concerned to cancel my previously scheduled meeting in Argentina with President Vladimir Putin,” Trump said on Twitter.

Trump is still hoping for improved future bilateral meeting with Vladimir Putin, saying he looks “forward to a meaningful Summit again as soon as this situation is resolved!”

On Sunday, Russia seized two Ukrainian navy ships and a navy tugboat along with 23 crew members off the Crimea Peninsula, accusing Kiev of entering its waters and provoking conflict.

3…………> Las Vegas Cheat: Busted

The former president and CEO of MRI International Inc. (MRI), a purported investment company and medical collections business located in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Tokyo, Japan, was convicted yesterday for his role in a $1.5 billion Ponzi scheme.

After a five-week jury trial before Chief Judge Gloria Navarro of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, Edwin Fujinaga, 72, of Las Vegas, was found guilty of eight counts of mail fraud, nine counts of wire fraud, and three counts of money laundering in connection with his Ponzi scheme. Sentencing is set for March 9, 2019.

The jury returned the guilty verdict in under three hours. Evidence presented during the trial showed that from 2000 until 2013, Fujinaga fraudulently solicited over $1 billion in investments in MRI from over 10,000 Japanese residents, who wired their funds from Japan to bank accounts in Las Vegas under Fujinaga’s control. Fujinaga spent less than two percent of investor funds to purchase medical claims. Instead, Fujinaga used the vast majority of new investors’ funds to pay off old investors.

4…………> Manafort Pardon: Trump

President Trump said a pardon for Paul Manafort is “not off the table,”  a statement that drew a furious rebuke from critics who fear the President will use his executive power to protect friends and supporters caught up in the Russia probe.

Paul Manafort was accused of breaching his plea deal by lying to Russia probe investigators, and his lawyers have been briefing Mr. Trump on the direction of the investigation, who has sharpened his attacks, seizing on what he claims are dirty tactics employed by the special counsel and accusing investigators of pressuring witnesses to lie, likening the Russia probe to Senator Joe McCarthy’s pursuit of alleged communists in the 1950s.

“We are in the McCarthy era. This is no better than McCarthy,” Mr. Trump told the newspaper.

When asked about a pardon for Mr. Manafort, Mr. Trump told the newspaper:

“It was never discussed, but I wouldn’t take it off the table.

5…………> “Cohen A Weak Person”: Trump

President Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about the Russia inquiry,  admitting that he  mislead lawmakers on talks during the presidential race about a Trump property deal in Moscow.

1…………> Today’s White House Tweets: President Trump

I would like to begin today’s remarks by providing an update on the packages and devices that have been mailed to high-profile figures throughout our Country, and a media org. I am pleased to inform you that law enforcement has apprehended the suspect and taken him into custody.

I will be speaking at the Young Black Leadership Summit in 15 minutes where I will address the investigation into the bomb packages.

Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this “Bomb” stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows – news not talking politics. Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!

Twitter has removed many people from my account and, more importantly, they have seemingly done something that makes it much harder to join – they have stifled growth to a point where it is obvious to all. A few weeks ago it was a Rocket Ship, now it is a Blimp! Total Bias?

The United States has been spending Billions of Dollars a year on Illegal Immigration. This will not continue. Democrats must give us the votes to pass strong (but fair) laws. If not, we will be forced to play a much tougher hand.

Funny how lowly rated CNN, and others, can criticize me at will, even blaming me for the current spate of Bombs and ridiculously comparing this to September 11th and the Oklahoma City bombing, yet when I criticize them they go wild and scream, “it’s just not Presidential!”

2…………> “End To Free Loading”: Trump ‘

.

.

‘It’s time to end the global freeloading once and for all,’ since for far too long, the United States has been footing the bill for lower drug prices—in foreign countries. American patients and taxpayers unfairly subsidize worldwide drug innovation while patients overseas get much lower prices from drug makers. Medicare, in particular, has shouldered an outrageously high burden. Today, President Donald J. Trump is launching actions to confront global freeloading and lower medicine prices for American patients. The heart of the effort is pure: putting forward a new way for Medicare to pay for certain drugs that are based on rates that other developed countries pay. That action alone is projected to reduce Medicare’s payments for these drugs by an incredible 30 percent over the next five years. And a related plan will fix the perverse incentives for doctors to administer more expensive medications to patients. Driving down drug costs has been a top priority for this President since day one, and Americans already see results: In the 100 days following the release of President Trump’s blueprint for lower drug costs, more than a dozen drug companies reduced their list prices, rolled back planned price increases, or froze their estimates for the rest of the year. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) set a new record for generic approvals last year, approving more than 1,000 generics that will bring an estimated $9 billion in savings in 2018. President Trump signed a law to end unfair gag clauses, which prevented pharmacists from telling patients when they could pay less out of pocket than if they used insurance to cover certain medicines.

3…………> “Mail Bomber Caught”: Florida

A 56-year-old Florida man identified as Cesar Sayoc, a registered Republican with a long rap sheet of threats against government officials has been arrested in connection with a mail-bombing campaign aimed at critics of US President Donald Trump, law enforcement officials saying that more arrests could follow.

Speaking at an event at the White House, Mr. Trump praised law enforcement for the quick arrest of the suspect, describing the search as looking for a “needle in a haystack.”

“These terrorizing acts are despicable and have no place in our country,” he said. “We will prosecute… them to the fullest extent of the law. We will never allow political violence to take root in our country.”

Investigators said mail-bombs were functional but unstable, meaning they could be set off merely by handling, and have timers easily bought at retail outlets. But experts speaking to several US media outlets have cast doubt on their effectiveness after seeing X-ray images. New York Police Commissioner James O’Neill could not confirm whether all the devices were intended to explode, but he said officials “are treating them as suspected explosive devices.”

4…………> “C’mon Over, Vladimir”: Trump To Putin

President Donald Trump has asked his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, to visit Washington next year, according to US National Security Adviser John Bolton who did not made it is clear if Mr. Putin has accepted the kind invitation.

The two leaders have met several times on the sidelines of international meetings but have held only one bilateral summit, in Helsinki in July, and they are expected to meet briefly in Paris next month to mark the anniversary of the end of World War One.

Speaking at a news conference in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, Mr. Bolton said: “We have invited President Putin to Washington after the first of the year [2019] for basically a full day of consultations. What the scheduling of that is we don’t quite know yet.”

The Jewish Museum London and The Photographers’ Gallery are staging the first UK retrospective of Russian-born American photographer Roman Vishniac (1897-1990), one of the most important social documentary photographers of the 20th century. Vishniac is perhaps best known for his widely recognized photographic records of Jewish life in Eastern Europe between the two World Wars.

His early work reflects the influence of European modernism, with his framing and compositions favoring sharp angles and dramatic use of light and shade.(BBC)

1…………> World Cup final: France v Croatia

It’s the biggest day in football, with France and Croatia only one win away from lifting the trophy in the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

Not on board the Croatia bandwagon? Fair enough. This French team is pretty magnificent, and they will be incredibly hard to stop. Here’s why they will win.
Croatia seems to be a pretty firm underdog for this one. But those onlookers would be dead wrong. Here’s why…
And there are no changes to speak of from either side. Croatia sticks with Marcelo Brozovic in a defensive midfield role, and the French see no need to opt against starting Blaise Matuidi in their own midfield. So we kinda know what to expect from both sides now, it’s going to come down to execution on the day.
Here we are, the biggest day in football. Years of qualifying and a month-long festival in Russia has brought us to this – France against Croatia, with the opportunity to lift the famous trophy only one victory away.

It’s been an excellent tournament and one that deserves a fitting final to send us out on a high note. All the ingredients are there for a memorable World Cup final, with both the French and Croatian teams littered with talent, but with such a prize on offer, will the big players freeze? And who will be the one to write his name into football folklore?

We can’t wait to find out. And you can follow every single bit of the action right here in our blog. Don’t go anywhere.

Breaking: France 2, Croatia 1, 38 minutes in the game.

2…………> Chicago Violence: Casualties

Police in Chicago has clashed with protesters after an officer fatally shot a black man who was suspected of carrying a gun as a crowd of about 150 people shouted “murderers”, threw objects and jumped on police cars during the confrontation in Chicago’s South Side area.

Officers armed with batons traded punches with the protesters, and three officers sustained minor injuries and there were four arrests.

3…………> Not Much Expected: Trump/Putin Lunch

President Trump has said he has “low expectations” for his meeting with Russia’s Vladimir Putin in Finland, but he said that “nothing bad” and “maybe some good” would come out of the encounter.

He also said he would raise the subject of 12 Russians indicted for alleged hacking during the 2016 US election – but “hadn’t thought” about asking for their extradition, a news that will please his “collusion” detractors, and almost certainly anger his supporters.

4…………> Paraglider Message: Trump In Scotland

A paraglider with a flying banner that dove within 200 feet of the president read, “Trump Well Below Par #Resist,” despite no-fly zone implemented by Scottish officials for the duration of Mr. Trump stay, forcing security rushing indoors as the Greenpeace pilot comes over.

Although Greenpeace officials did inform the local police, the police air incident advisor and the Prestwick air traffic control about their plans, a manhunt has since been launched for the pilot.
