In rural Pennsylvania, support for the former US president still runs deep, as Trump banners decorate the houses along the road to Piketown with thick snow covering the fields to the city, that is only a 20-minute drive from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s state capital, yet, when one crosses into Harrisburg, the political landscape quickly changes from deep red to bright blue. The phenomenon can be found all across the United States: The political divide between blue Democrats and red Republicans is mirrored in the geographical lines that run between urban and rural.
In Piketown and the surrounding area, about 74% of votes went for Trump in November’s presidential election, hence Trump’s impeachment following the riots at the US Capitol on January 6 has found little support among the residents of this small village, as they remain loyal to their former president.
Impeachment will only ‘divide the country further’ according to local observers.

In a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Tesla said it had invested $1.5 billion in Bitcoin.

“In January 2021, we updated our investment policy to provide us with more flexibility to further diversify and maximize returns on our cash,” the filing said.
Therefore, according to Tesla, “we may invest a portion of such cash in certain alternative reserve assets including digital assets, gold bullion, gold exchange-traded funds and other assets as specified in the future.”
Carmaker will accept Bitcoin, and Tesla will also “begin accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment for our products in the near future,” the company said. The lovely question is whether or not  the consumers will deal with a company involved in shady monetary policies?

4…………> Pfizer Vaccine Deaths: Investigating COVID-19 Administration?

The release of a Norwegian report enumerating the risks of its administration of the Pfizer vaccine has forced Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt to request the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) to seek further information on  the subject, confirmed by the agency that it is working closely with the European Medicines Agency and Pfizer to investigate vaccine risks flagged by the Norwegian government:
“The TGA is evaluating all of the scientific and clinical information provided by the vaccine’s sponsor, Pfizer, as well as other available evidence … prior to making a regulatory decision,” the TGA said in a statement.
Media reports out of Norway have flagged six more elderly patients who were given the vaccine died after being inoculated, bringing the total to 29.
The patients are all 75 and over, with 13 deaths already fully assessed and another 16 under review.

Australian journalist Ms. Cheng Lei was detained on August 13 last year by the Chinese KGB, but the state decision to formally arrest her on Friday means an official investigation will now begin nearly seven months later, forcing Foreign affairs minister Marise Payne to declare in a statement that Australian embassy officials had visited Ms. Cheng six times since her detention — most recently on January 27:
“The Australian government has raised its serious concerns about Ms. Cheng’s detention regularly at senior levels, including about her welfare and conditions of detention,” she said.

“We expect basic standards of justice, procedural fairness and humane treatment to be met, in accordance with international norms”.
“Our thoughts are with Ms. Cheng and her family during this difficult period.”
