A Turkish private jet operator says ex-Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn used two of its planes illegally in his escape from Japan, with an employee falsifying lease records to exclude his name from the documents, helping him to slip out of Japan aboard a private jet hidden in a large black case typically used to carry audio gear.
Multiple suspects who allegedly aided Mr. Ghosn’s escape have been arrested in Turkey, as MNG Jet said it had filed a criminal complaint over the incident, a day after Turkish police detained seven people, including four pilots, as part of an investigation into Mr. Ghosn’s passage through Istanbul en route to Lebanon.

Mr. Ghosn has become an international fugitive after he revealed on Tuesday he had fled to Lebanon to escape what he called a “rigged” justice system in Japan, where he faces charges relating to alleged financial crimes.

Iraq’s prime minister and pro-Iran figures were in attendance at the procession, where mourners chanted “death to America.” Tehran has vowed to retaliate over the US airstrike in Baghdad that killed Qassem Soleimani.

A funeral procession began at the Imam Kadhim shrine, one of the most venerated sites in Shiite Islam, and solemn mourners marched alongside military vehicles, with many mourners dressed in black and carried Iraqi flags as well as flags of militias that are loyal to Soleimani, who was the head of Iran’s elite Quds Force.

Iraq’s prime minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, was in attendance, as well as Shiite cleric Ammar al-Hakim and other pro-Iran figures in a large crowd surrounding the coffins, declaring three days of national mourning.

“For the Australian fires to be impacting such a large area, a whole continent, and for not a lot of people to be talking about it internationally, was really concerning to me,” she siad.

“I already have people who will buy nude photos of me, so I asked all my followers who already send me money anyway to send that in for a good cause.”

Ward tweeted at her thousands of followers on Instagram and Twitter: “I’m sending nudes to every person who donates at least $10 to any one of these fundraisers for the wildfires in Australia.”
