The Robert Koch health institute announced that Germany will impose a quarantine on people arriving from Britain due to the spread there of the coronavirus variant first found in India, hence  starting this Sunday, all travelers arriving from the UK will have to submit to a quarantine period of two weeks, regardless of whether they can provide a negative test result for the virus.

Only German citizens and residents of Germany will be allowed to enter from Britain, with air, rail and bus companies banned from transporting all other passengers from the country.

EL PASO – A multi-agency effort, led by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), has resulted in the recovery of 24 missing and/or runaway children throughout El Paso County and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

The following agencies assisted in the effort, dubbed Operation Lost Souls: El Paso Police Department, El Paso Sheriff’s Office, Socorro, Ysleta and El Paso Independent School District Police departments, U.S. Marshals Service, El Paso County Juvenile Probation Department, Ysleta Del Sur Tribal Police Division, Texas Anti-Gang Center, the Border Prosecution Unit for the District Attorney’s Office for the 34th Judicial District, El Paso County Attorney’s Office, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Parole Division.

SELLS, Ariz. — A 14-page indictment, unsealed Friday by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona, charges 12 people with various human smuggling and money laundering charges resulting from a human smuggling investigation Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Sells, Arizona.

On June 10, HSI special agents arrested Manuel de Jesus Ochoa-Vasquez, 38; Carlos Barron-Arredondo, 46; Fabiola Flores-Galves, 46; Isaac Gonzalez-Matul, 34; Oscar Roberto Mejia-De Leon, 25; Saul Martinez-Mercado, 35; Argeo Mendoza-Galvez, 48; Sandra Cuevas-Montesinos, 45; Rolando Cota-Leyva 39; David Lopez-Laurean, 30; Ronaldo Garde-Cienfuegos, 40; and Juan Manuel Osorio-Felix, 36. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and IRS-Criminal Investigation provided assistance with the arrests. Nine individuals remain at-large. In addition to the arrests, law enforcement seized over one million dollars in U.S. currency, six firearms and over 500 rounds of ammunition during the execution of the search warrants.

5…………> 88 Child Predators Locked-up: Argentina

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), in collaboration with Brazil Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) Secretariat for Integrated Operations (SEOPI) Cyber Laboratory, executed phase eight of Operation Protected Childhood (OPC) resulting in the arrest of approximately 88 alleged child predators,  this large-scale simultaneous enforcement action was executed between June 8 and June 11:

“This operation is a collaborative effort by HSI and our foreign law enforcement partners that resulted in removing child predators from our streets,” said ICE Attaché Robert Fuentes Jr.

“Thank you to our Brazilian partners for your unwavering efforts over the last six years to combat child exploitation through Operation Protected Childhood. And to our growing international and domestic partnerships, we thank you for all your hard work in putting these perpetrators behind bars and keeping children safe.”
