1…………> Remember A Hero: Airman John Chapman

HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. (AFNS) — The White House announced July 27, 2018, that Air Force Tech. Sgt. John Chapman will be posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor Aug. 22, for his extraordinary heroism during the Battle of Takur Ghar, Afghanistan, in March 2002.

According to the Medal of Honor nomination, Chapman distinguished himself on the battlefield through “conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity,” sacrificing his life to preserve those of his teammates.

Following Combat Control School, Chapman served with the 1721st Combat Control Squadron at Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina, where he met his wife, Valerie, in 1992. They had two daughters, who were the center of Chapman’s world even when he was away from home – which was common in the combat control career field.

“He would come home from a long trip and immediately have on his father hat – feeding, bathing, reading and getting his girls ready for bed,” said Chief Master Sgt. Michael West, who served with Chapman through Combat Control School, a three-year tour in Okinawa, Japan, and at Pope AFB. “They were his life, and he was proud of them…to the Air Force he was a great hero…what I saw was a great father.”

During the initial insertion onto Afghanistan’s Takur Ghar mountaintop on March 4, the MH-47 “Chinook” helicopter carrying Chapman and the joint special operations reconnaissance team was ambushed. He survived a violent engagement with multiple enemy fighters, for over an hour through the arrival of the quick reaction force, before paying the ultimate sacrifice. In the performance of these remarkably heroic actions, Chapman was applauded for saving the lives of his teammates.

3…………> Shut Down The Government: Trump

President Trump accused migrant parents who cross the U.S.-Mexico border with their sons and daughters of using these children to further “their sinister purposes,” defending his administration’s policy of separating children from their parents at the border. He said there should be consequences whenever someone enters the United States and claimed that our country has the “dumbest” and “worst” immigration laws in the world, encouraging the American people to vote for Republican candidates in the upcoming midterms so that Congress can amend these laws.

In addition, Mr.Trump threatened to shut-down the US government if Congress does not allocate $25 billion dollars for the construction of the border wall between US and Mexico.

4…………> Enemy Of The People: Trump

The publisher of the “failing” New York Times has urged President Donald Trump not to continue labeling reporters “enemies of the people,” saying it could “lead to violence” against the media.

Mr. Sulzberger said he had accepted the meeting with Mr. Trump to raise concerns about the president’s “deeply troubling anti-press rhetoric.”

Had a terrific and exciting meeting at the White House with A.G. Sulzberger, Publisher of the New York Times. Spent much time talking about the vast amounts of Fake News being put out by the media & how that Fake News has morphed into a phrase, “Enemy of the People.” Sad!

Mr.Sulzberger labeled the phrase “fake news” as “untrue and harmful” but said he was “far more concerned about his labeling journalists ‘the enemy of the people’.”
“I warned that this inflammatory language is contributing to a rise in threats against journalists and will lead to violence,” he said.

After Mr. ‘s statement was made public, Mr. Trump appeared to respond, as follow:

When the media-driven insane by their Trump Derangement Syndrome – reveals internal deliberations of our government, it indeed puts the lives of many, not just journalists, at risk! Very unpatriotic! Freedom of the press also comes with a responsibility to report the news.

1…………> Mr.Xi Steel Hand: Uyghur Scholar Murder

Uyghur Islamic scholar Muhammad Salih Hajim who was arrested, held and subjected to political indoctrination and propaganda since December 2017, has died in a Chinese re-education camp, according to World Uyghur Congress.

Hajim has translated the Holy Quran from Arabic to Uyghur language, the international group of exiled Uyghur said.

“[He] was very likely subjected to torture and ill-treatment during his imprisonment. Mr. Hajim’s death has occurred in the midst of a massive crackdown by the Chinese authorities on the Uyghur people in general and especially on their right to freedom of religion”.

“Hundreds of thousands (possibly millions) of Uyghurs have been arrested across East Turkestan and sent to ‘re-education’ camps for peacefully practicing their religion, expressing themselves freely, or for having any dissident relatives or associates,” it added.

The statement also denounced Chinese government and President XI “new socialism” heavy-handed policy of suppression against anyone who has raised their voice against the communist regime and declined to publicize the deaths in the camp.

2…………> “Pardon Ali”: Trump

President Trump said he is considering thousands of names for potential pardoning, including Mohammad Ali, who refused to serve in the Vietnam War citing religious reasons after converting to Islam, as have many football players and other athletes who have protested racial injustice by kneeling during the national anthem.

In 1971 the US Supreme Court reversed his conviction for resisting the draft.

Ali was born Cassius Clay, and changed his name after converting to Islam in the 1960s.

He refused to serve in the Vietnam War because of his religious beliefs, declaring himself a conscientious objector.

“I ain’t got no quarrel with the Viet Cong,” Ali said, and

was stripped of his heavyweight crown in 1967.

Ali’s legal fight ended in 1971, when the Supreme Court ruled in his favor, reversing his conviction on a technicality.

He regained the boxing title in 1974 and died in 2016.

3…………> “Putin, Darling”: G7

New World Disorder and globalist exponent, Canada’s PM Mr. Trudeau described President Trump’s citing of national security to defend his steel and aluminum tariffs as “laughable”.

Mr. Trump responded by firing off a series of tweets as shown below:

Speaking to reporters before the summit, he again criticized other nations for their treatment of the US but predicted tensions would ease and “we’ll all be in love again”.

US President Donald Trump says he wants Russia to be part of the G7 group of key industrialized nations, after being expelled in 2014 following its annexation of Crimea, but Mr. Trump said he wanted the country readmitted.

He said he regretted the meeting had shrunk in size, putting him at odds with most other G7 members on yet another issue.

“You know, whether you like it or – and it may not be politically correct – but we have a world to run and in the G7, which used to be the G8, they threw Russia out. They should let Russia come back in,” he said.

He found support in the shape of the newly installed Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, who tweeted that it was “in the interests of everyone” for Russia to be readmitted. But Canada, France, and the UK immediately signaled they remain opposed.

4…………> Jihadists Out: Austria’s Chancellor

Austria has said it will shut down seven mosques and expel imams who it says are funded by foreign countries, a decision by Chancellor Sebastian Kurz labeled as a crackdown on political Islam.

Some mosques are suspected of having links to Turkish nationalists, and images of children in Turkish army uniforms re-enacting the World War One Battle of Gallipoli were flooding the Internet.

The Turkish president’s office called Austria’s move “Anti-Islamic, racist and discriminatory”, and his spokesman Ibrahim Kalin took to Twitter to condemn the move.

Austria’s decision to close seven mosques and expel imams is a reflection of the Islamophobic, racist and discriminatory wave in this country. It is an attempt to target Muslim communities for the sake of scoring cheap political points.

The Austrian government says 60 of the 260 imams in the country are being investigated, of whom 40 belong to ATIB, an Islamic organization in Austria close to the Turkish government.

“Parallel societies, political Islam and radicalization tendencies have no place in our country,” said Chancellor Kurz on Friday.

5…………> French Legion Of Honor: US Vet

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At a ceremony overlooking the Department of Defense Warrior Games at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, June 2, 2018, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein presented the French Legion of Honor to a World War II Army veteran for his efforts to liberate Western Europe in 1945.

Robert Wortman was just 19 when he joined the army in 1944 and became a scout for the 3rd division 15th Infantry, which was quickly sent to the front lines and then behind enemy lines, crossing the Rhine River in the second wave. Days later, a surprise attack by German hold outs in Nuremberg wounded Wortman, forcing a leg amputation.

After spending three weeks recovering in a hospital in France, Wortman was flown home, but he did not let his wound slow him down. He went on to serve 30 years at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, as an Air Force civilian employee, and celebrated his 92nd birthday day last month.

“All of us in the services today enjoy the trust and confidence of a very grateful nation. That grateful spirit is not all because of what we do, but it is in part due to the incredible legacy of passed on by [Wortman] and those of [he] served with, members of the greatest generation,” Goldfein said during the ceremony.

Despite his years of service, Wortman’s daughter-in-law, Ann Wortman believes this is his first medal ceremony. His purple heart and bronze star arrived at the hospital while he was recovering in 1945.

The 102nd anniversary of the Kut al-Amara victory against the British was commemorated at the Ottoman Martyrs cemetery in eastern Iraq, with Fatih Yildiz, Turkey’s ambassador in Baghdad, describing Kut al-Amara as a joint Turkish-Iraqi victory in a speech he delivered in the city of Kut to mark the anniversary.

“We need to take a lesson from the unity and solidarity that our ancestors had in history against plans to divide the people in the region. “Let our unity always continue in peace,” Yildiz said.

“Being here is important to refresh our 450-year-long relations. Our solidarity should continue in order to build our common future,” Wasit governor Mahmoud Abd al-Rida Mulla Talal emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Iraqi and Turkish governments.

The battle of Kut al-Amara took place during the 1st World War between the Ottoman Army and British-Indian colonial forces in the town of Kut.

While commenting during his summit with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, North Korean leader Comrade Un disclosed his decision to shut down the country’s nuclear test site and open the process to experts and journalists from South Korea and the United States.

“Once we start talking, the United States will know that I am not a person to launch nuclear weapons at South Korea, the Pacific or the United States,” Mr Yoon quoted Mr Kim as saying.

“If we maintain frequent meetings and build trust with the United States and receive promises for an end to the war and a non-aggression treaty, then why would need to live in difficulty by keeping our nuclear weapons?”
