Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
.
Why are Republicans allowing the Democrats to have ridiculous Post Office hearings on Saturday & Monday, just before and during our Convention. Let them hold them NOW (during their Convention) or after our Convention is over. Always playing right into their hands!

2………….> Boeing Severe Jobs Cuts: COVID-19 Pain Spreading?
.
Troubled aerospace giant Boeing CEO warned that the company must “align to our new reality, preserve liquidity, and position ourselves for the eventual return to growth. We anticipate seeing a significantly smaller marketplace over the next three years.”.
He reported that Boeing was to reform its workforce amid the economic downturn, reduce staff by 19,000, hiring new employees in space travel and defense as commercial revenues continue to plummet, while leaders of eight defense firms, including Raytheon, BAE Systems and Northrop Grumman urged Trump’s administration in an open letter to provide billions in added funds amid the pandemic.
Boeing has been hit hard by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, forcing lay off 6,700 staff, as well as plans to scale back production of its flagship 737 MAX, 777X and 787 Dreamliner models.

3…………..> Philippines COVID-19 Cases Exploding: Hard Decisions Near?
.
The number of confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the Philippines shot up to 169,213 after the DOH reported 4,836 new daily cases, with the number of recoveries marching to 112,861 after 182 more patients survived the disease, but so did the death toll that also increased to 2,687 after seven more patients have succumbed to the viral disease.
Metro Manila topped the five regions or provinces with the highest number of daily confirmed cases reported on Tuesday with 2,959, followed by Laguna province, south of Manila, 321; Cavite province, south of Manila, 220; Rizal province, east of Manila, 185; and Bulacan province, north of Manila, 145.
However, the government warned to impose strict “localized” lockdown in areas with clusters of infections, with police also recommending the implementation of evening curfew to limit the movement of people.
“Just be careful, follow the safeguards,” President Rodrigo Duterte said in a televised public address late on Monday when he put Metro Manila and the neighboring four provinces under a less strict lockdown.
While the government has loosened the restrictions, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said several strict measures would be imposed to control the spread of the virus.
“We need to open the economy while refreshing the government’s responses to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19),” Roque said.

5…………> California Fires: Bay Area “Red Hot” Blazes Abound?
.
.
If California did not have enough problems already with the COVID-19 pandemic, tens of thousands of people have been forced to flee their homes in areas near San Francisco, after several quick moving wildfires swept into the region, with California’s Governor Gavin “Gruesome” Newsom declaring a state of emergency, sending teams to battle hundreds of fires burning around the area, announcing that the city of Vacaville, home to about 100,000, located between San Francisco and Sacramento, to be at most risk, door-to-door helpers spending overnight in a frantic effort to clear homes, since 50 structures have burned down, and another 50 damaged by the fire.
The blaze is thought to have been sparked by lightning and a heatwave on the US West Coast. Earlier this week, one of the highest ever temperatures on Earth was recorded in California’s Death Valley.
