A federal grand jury for the District of Nevada has returned an indictment , charging a former Las Vegas, Nevada, realtor named William Waller with evading over $500,000 in taxes owed for 2004 through 2009 and obstructing the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) by directing third parties to pay nominee entities for services Waller provided, and then using bank accounts in the names of those nominees to pay his personal expenses.
If convicted, the defendant faces a statutory maximum sentence of 30 years in prison for making a false statement to a bank, five years in prison for tax evasion, three years in prison for obstruction of the internal revenue laws, and one year in prison on each failure to file a tax return count. Waller also faces a period of supervised release, monetary penalties, and restitution.

A federal grand jury in Nashville, Tennessee returned a 45-count superseding indictment today charging a Gangster Disciples member Rex Andrew Whitlock, aka Stackhouse, 33, of Clarksville, with murder in aid of racketeering and use of a firearm resulting in death of the rival Bloods gang as he left Dodge’s Chicken and drove down Tobacco Road in Clarksville, at which time Whitlock shot and killed him.
“According to today’s superseding indictment, Gangster Disciples member Rex Andrew Whitlock allegedly laid in wait for a member of a rival gang outside a gas station in Clarksville, followed him down the street and murdered him,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Cronan. “The Department of Justice is committed to prosecuting gangs like the Gangster Disciples and to eradicating the scourge of violence that this gang and others like it have inflicted on too many communities.”

Sister Agnes-Marie Valois earned her nickname ‘White Angel’ after she came to the aid of wounded Canadian and British soldiers in 1942. She stood up to Nazi soldiers and even stole German rations to feed Allied troops.
She died aged 103 at a monastery where she was living in retirement, in the northern French town of Dieppe.

An all-star line up has performed at London’s Royal Albert Hall in honor of the UK’s longest-serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth who was presented with a bouquet of flowers by a 7-year-old Londoner celebrating his birthday too.
Prime Minister Theresa May led birthday tributes to the head of the royal family on Saturday, praising her “service, dedication and constancy” at a concert held in her honor at London’s Royal Albert Hall featuring singers Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue, Craig David, Sting and Shaggy, and South African band Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
Earlier in the day, she was honored with a 41-gun royal salute by soldiers from the Royal Horse Artillery, along with a parade past Buckingham Palace and a second, 62-artillery gun salute at the Tower of London.
