ICE removed an MS-13 gang member named Juan Saravia-Salamanca, an unlawfully present Salvadoran national from the United States Friday who is wanted in his home country on felony charges of illicit involvement in a terrorist organization and aggravated homicide.

Since Oct. 1, 2009, ERO has removed more than 1,789 foreign fugitives from the United States who were sought in their native countries for serious crimes, including kidnapping, rape and murder. ERO works with the ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Office of International Operations, foreign consular offices in the United States, and Interpol to identify foreign fugitives illegally present in the United States. Members of the public who have information about foreign fugitives are urged to contact ICE by calling the ICE tip line at 1 (866) 347-2423 or internationally at 001-1802-872-6199. They can also file a tip online by completing ICE’s online tip form.

 

2…………> Crooked Used Car Dealer: Worst Of The Worst

An Indiana man identified as Tochukwu Nwosisi, 47 of Indianapolis, was arrested in connection with allegations that he laundered the proceeds of an international advance-fee scheme through a used-car dealership he owned and operated. The scam allegedly involved false promises of investment funding by individuals impersonating U.S. bank officials to victims around the world, who were told they had to make certain payments before they could supposedly receive their funding. In some cases, the perpetrators allegedly met with the victims at local U.S. embassies or consulates and fabricated U.S. government documents to make the victims believe the U.S. government was sponsoring the investment agreements. Proceeds of the scheme were allegedly laundered through U.S. bank accounts and diverted back to the scheme’s perpetrators in Nigeria.

According to the superseding indictment, Nwosisi owned and operated a used car dealership in Indianapolis called Indyrides LLC. As part of his alleged involvement in the conspiracy, Nwosisi received international and domestic wire transfers from victims of the advance-fee scheme into his business bank accounts. The victims were under the impression that such payments were necessary to receive their investment funding. Nwosisi allegedly used the victims’ payments to, among other things, pay himself a portion of the funds and purchase vehicles that he then shipped to the scheme’s perpetrators in Nigeria. As banks closed his accounts for suspicious activity, Nwosisi continued to open new bank accounts to receive payments from victims.

Fortunately for all involved in this deadly and unpredictable game, an ingenious man named Thoeun Theap has found a new “Hero” sapper giant African rat who has been trained to clear explosives from a tennis court-sized area in just 30 minutes, while a team of trained mine removal experts could take a day or two.
 
The Cambodians may as well paraphrase the old saying, “Dog is man’s best friend” to “African rats are man’s best friends.”

An unmanned Chinese aircraft vehicle (UAV) will test its first drone-carried drop-sonde, or meteorological data monitor up to 18,000 feet, in order to carry out atmospheric profiles as the device falls to the ground.

Launched using a parachute, the drop-sonde can descend at a stabilized speed and cut the atmosphere column like a scalpel to gather data such as temperature, humidity, and wind direction and transmit them to ground receiving devices in real time.

 There has been shocking development at a far eastern Russia airport of Yakutsk after a plane laden with tonnes of gold-silver alloy bars was taking off when a loading hatch sheered off, releasing a rain of precious metal down onto the runway.


Some 200 bars, each weighing about 20kg (44 pounds), were then scattered across the runway, and police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, after cordoning off the area.

In a first of its kind study on a global scale of the bottled water industry with global sales of $147 billion dollars, the researchers tested products from 11 brands bought at 19 locations in nine countries around the world for microplastics, leading to identifying the contaminant in 93% of the samples, in great dispersion of quantities and sizes.

According to samples data from portal “Statista”, the world population will be drinking 391 billion litres of bottled water in 2017 — up from 288 billion litres in 2012, leaving us with a burning question:  Is consuming such tiny plastic particles safe, and if some were small enough to pass through the gut, “there would be concern about physical invasion of tissue and the chemical load associated with the plastics,” according to concerned scientists.

The study findings indicated that we could be drinking an average of 314 of these smaller particles per litre. Because they could not analyze them in the same way as the larger particles, the researchers cannot entirely rule out that other contaminants could be in the mix.

Violence was reported in seven municipalities: Chilapa, Chilpancingo, Iguala and Tecpan, and in the tourist destinations of Acapulco, Zihuatanejo and Taxco, leading to 15 fatalities due to shootings, malicious fires and torture.

A man was burned to death in Zitlala while in Chilapa a man was attacked and killed in his home. A woman was murdered in the capital of the state, Chilpancingo, and three more people were assassinated in Taxco, Tecpan and Iguala.

Raul Ernesto Landaverde-Giron, aka Humilde and Decente, of Silver Spring, Maryland was convicted of conspiracy to participate in a racketeering enterprise in connection with his gang activity as a member of La Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13. Landaverde-Giron was also found guilty of murder in aid of racketeering; conspiracy to commit murder in aid of racketeering; discharging a firearm during a crime of violence and murder resulting from the discharging of a firearm during a crime of violence.

“With more than 10,000 members across 40 U.S. states, MS-13 is one of the deadliest gangs in America,” said Attorney General Sessions. “That’s why the Trump administration and this Department of Justice have worked aggressively to dismantle this vicious gang and take its members off of our streets. Maryland, in particular, has suffered terribly because of MS-13’s campaign of rape, murder, and extortion. Today’s conviction is another victory for the American people against this uniquely barbaric gang, and I want to thank everyone who played a role in making it possible, especially Homeland Security Investigations, Prince George’s and Montgomery County police, Hyattsville police, and the Assistant U.S. Attorneys and Department of Justice Trial Attorneys who prosecuted the case.
