The United States killed Iran’s most powerful general in an air strike at Baghdad’s international airport on Friday, on the direct orders of President Trump in order to prevent future attacks, as his successor threatened  a “vigorous revenge on America”, thus taking the US confrontation with Iran to a new, deadly dangerous level.

The Pentagon confirmed the death of Major-Genera Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s elite Quds Force and the architect of Tehran’s proxy wars in the Middle East, and Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, as drones struck their convoy near the Baghdad airport.

“The American and Israeli enemy is responsible for killing the mujahideen Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Qassem Soleimani,” said Ahmed al-Assadi, a spokesman for Iraq’s Popular Mobilisation Forces umbrella grouping of Iran-backed militias.

One person has died and several others have been injured in a knife attack in a suburb of Paris, as a lone jihadist stabbed a number of passers-by in Villejuif, about 5 miles south of the French capital.

The attacker was chased by police after targeting people in a park, with four people believed to have been stabbed,  two were reported to have been seriously injured and had to be taken to a nearby hospital.

General Qassem Soleimani has killed or badly wounded thousands of Americans over an extended period of time, and was plotting to kill many more…but got caught! He was directly and indirectly responsible for the death of millions of people, including the recent large number….

….of PROTESTERS killed in Iran itself. While Iran will never be able to properly admit it, Soleimani was both hated and feared within the country. They are not nearly as saddened as the leaders will let the outside world believe. He should have been taken out many years ago!
