Soto-Diaz pleaded guilty to the charge on July 18, 2019.
Soto-Diaz admitted that between August 28, 2018, and January 28, 2019, he conspired with six other defendants to distribute methamphetamine and heroin, himself being the leader and organizer of an extensive criminal organization that was responsible for distributing high potency methamphetamine, manufactured in Mexico and then transported from California to Idaho. During their investigation of Soto-Diaz and his organization, DEA agents seized over thirty pounds of 100% pure methamphetamine and almost two pounds of black tar heroin.

Jack Eugene Knight, 54, of Valley, Nebraska, was sentenced on two counts of receiving child pornography and two counts of possessing child pornography before U.S. District Court Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr. Knight, following HSI special agents investigation for committing federal child exploitation offenses.
Agents seized two cellular telephones, one laptop, and multiple external storage devices. Knight admitted to collecting child pornography and told agents that child pornography would be located on the devices inside of his van. Knight also told agents that he had a storage unit in Lincoln, Nebraska, which contained more devices containing child pornography. Authorities traveled to Lincoln and collected three laptops from the defendant’s storage unit.

The infection rate of pneumonia caused by the new type of corona-virus in China has reached 20,438, a total of 425 people have died:
“As of midnight on February 3, the state health committee received information from 31 provinces… about 20,438 confirmed cases of pneumonia caused by the new type of corona-virus, of which 2,788 are in serious condition, 425 have died, 632 people have been discharged from hospitals,” the China’s state health committee said.
Earlier, the regional health committee said that the death toll from novel corona-virus in China’s Hubei province had reached 414, with more than 13,522 people infected with the virus.
According to the authorities, 1,242 new cases were identified in the city of Wuhan alone.
“At present, 10,990 cases are still being treated in the hospital (including 1,567 cases of severe illness and 576 cases of critical illness), all of whom are receiving isolation treatment at designated medical institutions. A total of 68,988 close contacts have been tracked, and 58,544 people are still undergoing medical observation”, the authorities said.
