Jorge Rodriguez-Saldana, 30, was driving a vehicle that struck a grandmother and her two grandchildren, killing the seven-year-old child and critically injuring the grandmother.

On July 13, 2019, Rodriguez-Saldana was arrested by ICE-ERO Newark Officers in Horsham, Pennsylvania for immigration violations as he was in the US illegally.

Law enforcement authorities in Atlantic County did not refer the case for ICE for review, and he was released from local custody on a summons following the incident, an outrage.

In response WhatsApp urged all of its 1.5bn users to update their apps as an added precaution, with the attackers using App’s voice calling function to ring a target’s device, even if the call was not picked up, the surveillance software would be installed, and the call would often disappear from the device’s call log.

“The attack has all the hallmarks of a private company reportedly that works with governments to deliver spyware that takes over the functions of mobile phone operating systems,” the company said.

“These arrests mark the culmination of a comprehensive yearlong multi-agency investigation into one of the largest alleged marriage fraud conspiracies ever documented in the Houston area,” said Special Agent in Charge Mark Dawson, HSI Houston.
