A Dominican national pleaded guilty to Social Security fraud in federal court in Boston as the result of an US Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) federal Document and Benefit Fraud Task Force investigation into a conspiracy involving the use of fraudulent driver’s licenses to obtain the social security numbers of US citizens from Puerto Rico on March 28.
Wilkin Alexander Marte Baez, 40, pleaded guilty to one count of false representation of a Social Security number, Marte Baez was initially charged by indictment as a John Doe in federal court in Michigan, along with several others involved in a conspiracy to assist Dominican nationals with obtaining driver’s licenses using the identities of others.
He supported his application with a counterfeit Puerto Rican birth certificate, a counterfeit Puerto Rican driver’s license, and a Social Security card in the United States citizen’s name.

The off-duty officer was reportedly enjoying a day off when he recognized the man in the sauna, Rinkeby Police said the arrest was “as stripped-down as it gets”, with the officer has been praised as a “hero who never takes the day off.”
The Swedish officer, who works in the Stockholm suburb of Rinkeby, had only just sat down when he reportedly recognized the wanted man, who was on the run for drug offenses and aggravated assault.
