Smuggled pangolins have been found to carry viruses closely related to the one sweeping the world, and now scientists say the sale of the animals in wildlife markets should be strictly prohibited to minimize the risk of future outbreaks.

Mike MacEvitt was working off the coast of Edmonds early this week when high winds and rough seas caused the derelict sailboat he and his coworker were towing to come unhitched.
