U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) deportation officers removed a Peruvian man wanted in his home country for aggravated robbe, and On Aug. 12, Ricardo Florencio Pelayo Vilchez was removed from the United States escorted by ERO officers. Pelayo arrived at Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima where he was transferred into the custody of Peruvian authorities.
“Today’s announcement demonstrates our continued commitment to deny refuge to those looking to hide from another country’s courts.Once again, our skilled officers successfully apprehended a wanted fugitive who is accused of a violent crime abroad and sought to hide in the US at an unknown location without admission or parole by an immigration officer,” said Lyle A. Boelens, acting field office director for ERO Washington.
On Nov. 16, 2015, Interpol issued a public Red Notice identifying Pelayo as a wanted fugitive for charges of armed robbery in Peru.

Maxar Technologies satellite photos show Chinese armored vehicles parked in a sports complex in the city of Shenzhen, bordering Hong Kong, in what some have interpreted as a threat from Beijing to use increased force against protesters.
Chinese state media has said only that the Shenzhen exercises had been planned beforehand and were not directly related to the unrest in Hong Kong, although they came shortly after the central Government in Beijing said the protests were beginning to show the “sprouts of terrorism”
The pictures appear to show more than 100 vehicles sitting in and around the soccer stadium at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre, just north of the Asian financial hub that has been rocked by more than two months of near-daily street demonstrations
