Cesar Diaz-Rodriguez, a 30-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, was arrested Oct. 8 in Houston, Texas, for illegal reentry, after previously being removed from the U.S. on Oct. 31, 2017, following a felony criminal conviction for unlawful possession of a firearm.
Now ICE officers arrested him again, for illegally entering the U.S. on at least five separate occasions, and who allegedly threatened to shoot ICE officers.
“This individual brazenly ignored U.S. immigration law, while simultaneously threatening the lives of the brave men and women sworn to uphold it,” said Patrick Contreras, field office director for ICE Houston.
“By working together with our partners from ERO Boise, we have removed this dangerous criminal alien from the community before he could act on those cowardly threats.”

At least three IS suicide bombers attacked its military positions in Syria’s Raqqa, taking “advantage of an imminent Turkish invasion”, with “clashes still ongoing”, but no further details including casualties or damage inflicted by the terrorist attack are available.
Raqqa was seized by Syrian opposition forces in 2013, and then captured by IS, which then proclaimed the city its de facto capital, but in 2016, the SDF, backed by the US-led military coalition, launched a campaign to liberate the city. The operation culminated in the 2017 Battle of Raqqa, which brought the city back under SDF control.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has vowed a military operation in northern Syria east of the Euphrates in coming days, after the United States announced it would pull out of the region.
