CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – A Southeast Texas man, identified as Gerardo Fabian Ramos, 41, of Corpus Christi, who produced pornographic images of himself abusing toddlers, was sentenced to 60 years in federal prison, and was further ordered to register as a sex offender, and to serve the rest of his life on supervised release following completion of his prison term.

 The father also provided testimony, as law enforcement ultimately found hundreds of videos and still images of child pornography in his possession.

 While on supervised release, Ramos will have to comply with numerous requirements designed to restrict his access to children and the internet.

At the hearing, the court heard Gerardo Fabian Ramos produced images of himself sexually assaulting two toddlers on multiple occasions, and the court also heard from the mother who read a letter explaining how the crime impacted their lives.

Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, and US Attorney Don Cochran for the Middle District of Tennessee.

According to evidence and testimony at trial, the defendants are all members of the Gangster Disciples, a criminal organization that originated in Chicago and spread through the midwestern and eastern United States.

 During a portion of the conspiracy, Darden was the “regent” of the “615 region” of the Gangster Disciples, making him the highest-ranking member of the gang in the middle Tennessee area.

 In that role, Darden exercised control over Gangster Disciples activities in Clarksville, Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Gallatin, among other cities.

 Darden also reported to a statewide “governor” of the Gangster Disciples.
