Photos have given us a more detailed glimpse of the damage wrought on the Notre Dame cathedral’s interior after a catastrophic blaze damaged the world heritage-listed site, so now the world can take a look through each photo to see the damage inflicted on the beloved cathedral by the fire.
The fire blazed for several hours, damaging the roof and causing the spire to collapse, and came close to destroying the entire building, and it took Notre Dame staff 23 minutes after the first fire alarm sounded to discover the blaze that went on to cause widespread destruction to the 850-year-old cultural icon.

Russian Duma deputies voted in support of a bill allowing Russia to create its own autonomous internet, de-facto creating an independent infrastructure for the Russian internet, or “Runet,” which will essentially allow Russia to cut its virtual link to the world in case of attack.
A total of 307 lawmakers voted in favor of the law, while only 68 voted against it, and in the coming days it will likely be approved by the upper house of parliament, the Federation Council, and signed into law by Russian President Vladimir Putin to become a law on November 1, 2019.
