Have the Democrats finally realized that we desperately need Border Security and a Wall on the Southern Border. Need to stop Drugs, Human Trafficking, Gang Members & Criminals from coming into our Country. Do the Dems realize that most of the people not getting paid are Democrats?

2…………>Rainy, Stormy Christmas; Syria’s Camps
Heavy downpour caused severe flooding in rural areas of northern Syria, destroying tents at 11 refugee camps and leaving tens of thousands of people to face the winter without shelter, with an estimated 25,000 refugees searching for shelter at other camps.
No casualties have yet been reported as a result of the flooding, but numerous heads of livestock have reportedly perished, and requests for emergency assistance have been received from the Atme, Qah, Omar and Khirbat al-Jawz refugee camps in the northwestern Latakia province.
Mustafa Yusuf, director of Syria’s White Helmets civil-defense organization, told Anadolu Agency that the organization had received numerous requests for urgent assistance.
“Since yesterday afternoon, our agency has been conducting search-and-rescue operations,” Yusuf said Thursday.

3…………> Santa Trump Undercover: Iraq, Germany Troop Visits
President Trump accompanied by his wife Melania made his first visit to soldiers stationed in an unstable region, flying into Iraq on Boxing Day in an unannounced trip, after being criticized for not yet visiting overseas troops by his “Fake News” detractors.
The US Government remains partially shut down amid a funding stalemate over a border wall, a week after Mr. Trump stunned his national security advisers by announcing he would withdraw US troops from neighboring Syria where they have been fighting Islamic State (IS) militants.
The President traveled with first lady Melania Trump and their trip was shrouded in secrecy.
Air Force One flew overnight from Washington, landing at an air base west of Baghdad under the cover of darkness on Wednesday evening (local time).
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters aboard Air Force One that Iraq’s Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi accepted an invitation from Mr. Trump to visit the White House.

4…………>We Ain’t No Suckers: Trump
President Trump expressed his “eternal gratitude” for the work of US troops in Iraq, on an unannounced Christmas visit to meet service personnel at al-Asad air base west of Baghdad.
He spoke about his recent decision to withdraw US troops from Syria, saying “America shouldn’t be doing the fighting for every nation on earth”.

5…………> Somber Holidays: US Government Shutdown
“The anxiety level among federal employees is extremely high and on top of that, there is real anger that they are paying the personal price for someone else’s dysfunction,” US National TreasuryEmployees Union (NTEU) President Tony Reardon said in a statement, with about 80% of federal employees responding to a survey earlier this week admitting that they were “very concerned” about paying their rent and bills this month, and more than 85 percent said they were tightening their belts.
President Trump said the shutdown “could be a long stay,” with White House budget director Mick Mulvaney saying it could drag on to next year, pass the first working day after the start of the shutdown, and nine out of 15 cabinet-level departments and dozens of agencies affected.
The shutdown, which started Friday midnight, resulted from a budgetary impasse between the White House and Congress over whether to fund the construction of a U.S.-Mexico border wall, a promise of President Donald Trump’s campaign in 2016.
“Whatever it takes, we need a wall,” Mr. Trump said during his unannounced visit to U.S. troops in Iraq on Wednesday. “We need safety for our country.”
Democrats have violently pushed back, slapping the Trump proposal as an “inefficient, unnecessary and costly” solution to strengthening border security as well as “a political stunt” to galvanize his base.
“Fake New Media” and DC alligator infested swamp pundits have said that it’s hard to predict when the political stalemate would end as Republicans and Democrats are still deeply divided over the border wall, which has also torn the public apart.
“The shutdown could easily go on for weeks and there will be no winners — only losers,” Mark Penn, former chief strategist on Bill Clinton’s 1996 presidential campaign, wrote in an op-ed carried by Fox News.
