So what’s up currently with Turkey, Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela and the other members of the BRICK and Eurasian blocks whose currencies have nosedived due to so-called tariffs imposed by the Trump’s administration?

Obama’s appointed Fed governor Mr. Powell has raised rates to over 5% from 8 years of zero% rates, increasing National debt service by $100 billion per year and set US dollar to par with the Swiss frank. In addition, anyone who owes dollars among the countries mentioned above is being crushed by the US Treasury FOREX war promulgated as a tariff war, when in substance is a brutal attempt to rectify 40 years of exporting US capital and knowhow to the “World Middle Class” countries that has turned China into a superpower whom the US is about to face very shortly in the boiling powder cake of South China Sea. Illustrious Greek island of Crete has been in the crossroads of history from the beginning of time, most recently fought for independence after 250 years of Ottoman occupation, then challenged Hitler’s hordes using whatever little weaponry they had.

The Cretan Resistance earned the great honor to be credited with fatally delaying the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union, while also reducing the number of troops available for missions in the Middle East and Africa.

Despite repeated attacks from the Nazis on local villages and communities, the Cretan Resistance remained active until the Germans surrendered four years later, in 1945.

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his country will boycott US electronic products after Washington imposed punitive sanctions on Ankara.

“If [the US] has the iPhone, there’s Samsung on the other side,” Mr. Erdogan said, referring to Apple and its South Korean competitor.

After US doubled tariffs over Turkey’s refusal to extradite a US pastor who is imprisoned there, the lira plunged by a 20% in response. President Erdogan said Turkey was taking measures to stabilize the economy, and should not “give in to the enemy” by investing in foreign currencies.

Position short 24400 closed, cover shortstop 24500, for a loss of 50 DIA points.
 Last location long 24500, stop 25100 for a gain of 600 points. Previous post long 24350, sell stop triggered at 25350 for a paper gain of 1000 points. Short position at 25300, cover shortstop closed at 23350 for a loss of 50 DIA points. Extended position at 24400, sell stop 25400 for a gain of 1000 DIA points closed, and short post established at 25380, cover short at 25300 for an increase of 80 DIA points. 

Stocks were up 122 to 25300, DJ futures -47, attempt to stage a short covering rally continuing.

Gold down to 1194.9 and USD/CHF down 0.99 due to President Trump setting tariffs on Chinese products. Translation? As the dollar goes down, we have to wait and see if the new Fed Chair Jerome Powell will continue pressuring gold and the Eurasian block with it down below $1000/oz in an economic WW3. Watch cover short at 25,300.
We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempt to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects.
