The list of White House officials that could be behind the highly critical opinion piece in The New York Times has been narrowed down to a “few” individuals, according to an anonymous source in the presidential administration.

The source also revealed that Trump is “obsessed” with finding the person responsible for writing the article, and considering whether Attorney General Jeff Sessions should launch an investigation. He explained that the person responsible for the article could have security clearance and access to classified meetings, and White House adviser Kellyanne Conway noted the same day that the president believes the author of the opinion piece may be an official from the national security sector of the US government.

Officials said the 46-year-old British woman named Kay Longstaff survived after falling from a cruise ship off the coast of Croatia, and was pulled out ten hours later from the Adriatic Sea about 60 miles offshore from the town of Pula.

After being taken to a hospital, she told reporters she fell off the back and was “very lucky to be alive”

“I was in the water for 10 hours, so these wonderful guys rescued me,”she said after being helped off the coastguard patrol boat the Cavtat.

Mr. Brennan says he will fight the decision to deny security clearances to others “Deep State” Trump haters and saboteurs residing in the D.C. swamp since President Trump’s has threatened he may do the same for nine others.

Mr. Trump yanked Mr. Brennan’s security clearance last week, saying he felt he had to do “something” about the “rigged” probe of Russian election interference.

IndyCar driver Robert Wickens has been admitted to hospital following a dramatic crash at the start of Sunday’s race at the Pocono Raceway aka  “The Tricky Triangle,” in Long Pond, Pennsylvania — is the same circuit where Justin Wilson — the last driver to be killed in an IndyCar race — suffered his fatal accident in 2015.

The 29-year-old driver was attempting to pass Ryan Hunter-Reay when the two cars lightly touched. That caused Hunter-Reay’s car to careen into the wall, and Wickens’s car was pulled along for the ride.

Islamic May’sdom of UK police have arrested a man named Joe Xuereb, 27   on suspicion of attempting to murder two women on Sunday in at Adderley Gardens in Greenwich, in south-east London, The Daily Star reported.

According to a statement from the Metropolitan police, officers were called at 12.10 p.m. to find the women, aged 64 and 30, suffering from injuries “consistent with a violent assault.” Both women were taken to London hospitals where they are reportedly fighting for their lives.

Hardly two days after a suicide bomber driving an ambulance laden vehicle penetrated two security checkpoints in Kabul killing at least hundred and injured many more people, Marshal Fahim National Defence University in the Afghan capital of Kabul  was targeted by five jihadists, two of whom blew themselves up, two were killed in fighting and one was captured, according to the defense ministry. 

Militants were armed with rocket-propelled grenades and automatic rifles, leading to the death of 11 soldiers in the attack Kabul, a witness reported.

The House Intelligence Committee voted to release a classified memo circulating in Congress that purportedly reveals government surveillance abuses, with the vote announced to reporters by grim faced California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the committee, who called it a “very sad day, I think, in the history of this committee.”

President Trump now has five days to decide whether he has any objections before the memo can be publicly released.
