Boeing recommends entire global fleet of 737 MAX aircraft be grounded, following the recent tragedy of an airplane crash in Ethiopia that killed 149 passengers and eight crew members on board, the Boeing 737 MAX 8 has been banned from operating.
“On behalf of the entire Boeing team, we extend our deepest sympathies to the families and loved ones of those who have lost their lives in these two tragic accidents,” Boeing chief executive officer Dennis Muilenburg said.
“We are doing everything we can to understand the cause of the accidents in partnership with the investigators, deploy safety enhancements and help ensure this does not happen again,” he said.
Boeing still has full confidence in the 737 MAX, but made the recommendation to suspend operations of the model’s entire global fleet, after the Boeing CEO has apologized for the plane crashes in Ethiopia and Indonesia, and the Federal Aviation Administration releasing a full list of the operators who use the 737 MAX.

President Donald Trump’s declaration of an emergency on the US-Mexico border looks likely to be dealt a blow by dissident Republican senators, as the measure to terminate the emergency declaration is expected to pass the Republican-controlled Senate after seven GOP Establishment members said they would support it, joining their Unified Party USA friends in the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives last month backed the measure.
Mr. Trump said he would “probably” have to veto the measure, saying that, “Pure and simple, it’s a vote for border security”, calling Democrats “border deniers” and said any Republican opposing him would be casting “a vote for Nancy Pelosi.”
GOP senators are Mitt Romney and Mike Lee of Utah, Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Rand Paul of Kentucky.

Emphasizing that even though he didn’t share the Italian Nazi leader’s political beliefs, he continued as follows:
“One must be objective. I’m not a fascist, I have never been a fascist and I don’t share his political thought, but if we must be honest, he built roads, bridges, buildings… he reclaimed many parts of our Italy,” an EU official claimed.
The remark provoked an outcry and anger voiced by his EU fellow officials who speculated that the president of the European Parliament is a fascist sympathiser.
