2…………> Fukushima Water Row: China vs Japan
.
China expressed a grave concern about Japan’s decision to discharge nuclear wastewater from Fukushima nuclear plant into the sea, releasing a statement alleging that the nuclear accident is one of the most serious in world history, with the leak of large amounts of radioactive materials has had far-reaching implications on the marine environment, food safety and human health.
A review report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) expert team points out that if the wastewater containing tritium from the Fukushima nuclear plant is discharged into the sea, it will affect the marine environment and people’s health of neighboring countries and that the treated wastewater needs to be further purified to remove other radionuclides.
The spokesperson said that despite doubts and opposition from home and abroad, Japan has unilaterally decided to release the Fukushima nuclear wastewater into the sea before exhausting all safe ways of disposal and without fully consulting with neighboring countries and the international community.
“This is highly irresponsible and will severely affect human health and the immediate interests of people in neighboring countries,” said the spokesperson.
Noting that oceans are mankind’s shared property, the spokesperson said how the wastewater from the Fukushima nuclear power plant is handled is not merely a domestic issue for Japan.
The spokesperson said China strongly urges the Japanese side to face up to its responsibility, follow the science, fulfill its international obligations and duly respond to the serious concerns of the international community, neighboring countries and its own people.

3…………> No Border Visits: Harris?
.
Chad Wolf, former acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, expressed concern over the vice president’s apparent handling of the ongoing migrant crisis during a Tuesday news conference organized by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank:
“I’d say the vice president, if she’s actually addressing this issue, needs to do both, needs to go to the border, needs to understand the conditions that are being experienced, needs to understand and talk to the men and women of the Border Patrol, she needs to hear firsthand what they’re experiencing, because it’s all interrelated,” the former Trump administration official said, as reported by Fox News.
When asked last month whether the vice president has plans to visit the US-Mexico, Harris’ spokesperson Symone Sanders told reporters “[t]he vice president is not doing the border,” but “will be speaking with leaders” from the Northern Triangle and Latin America.
“You can’t talk to Northern Triangle countries, or to Mexican officials, without understanding the pressures and the situation and atmosphere on the border,” Wolf claimed.

4…………> Fresh Civil Unrest: Minnesota Shooting
.
About 40 people were arrested just north of Minneapolis in a second night of unrest over the police shooting of a black man.
Protesters in the city of Brooklyn Center defied a curfew and threw objects at police, who responded with flash grenades and tear gas.
Police said Daunte Wright, 20, was shot and died after an officer mistook her gun for a Taser during a traffic stop.
The shooting came as the high-profile George Floyd murder trial continues.
This report contains strong language
In a courtroom just a few miles away, ex-police officer Derek Chauvin is charged with murdering the African American man in May last year.
Derek Chauvin’s defense team on Monday asked for jury members to be sequestered – separated from other people – as they might be swayed by the latest events. The judge denied the request.

5…………> Black COVID19 Unemployment: 35%
.
Young black people have been hardest hit by unemployment during the pandemic, new research indicates.
Over the past year, the UK jobless rate for young black people rose by more than a third to 35%, the Resolution Foundation think tank said.
That compared with a rate of 24% for young people of Asian descent and a rate of 13% for young white people, both up three percentage points.
The foundation said Covid had widened existing gaps between ethnic groups.
It added that young people in general had borne the brunt of job losses in lockdown, because they disproportionately worked in sectors hit by the crisis, such as hospitality and leisure.
‘Finding work feels impossible for my generation’
‘I’ve made 200 applications and don’t have a job’
At the height of the pandemic last year, between the second and third quarters of 2020, the unemployment rate among 18 to 24-year-olds rose from 11.5% to 13.6%, the foundation said.
This was the largest quarter-on-quarter rise among this age group since 1992.
Kickstart call
“The rise in youth unemployment is not just about those losing their jobs, but also about young people not finding work in the first place,” the foundation added.

Ziban Must Die https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U1QG1UQ
A Bedouin caravan traveling through the Negev desert stumbles onto the body of dying Mossad agent, Adnan Al Harirri, a momentous event that warns Western Intelligence about Chechen followers of the wayward cleric Abdul Rahman Abudaev being in possession of an MWMD, (Miniature Weapon of Mass Destruction), capable of creating enough phosgene gas to kill thousands of people in a relatively closed space. When a subliminal interrogation of a Hezbollah pilot reveals the conspiracy “Ziban must die”, a maddening race explodes in the search of the assassins, search laced with terror, blatant treachery in the highest levels of World Governments, and questions about future of our democracy that will surely put ice water in the veins of anyone who gets across the Machiavellian dream of the New world Order, Order without sacred religions or bellowed Constitutions.
