“No bill of this size is perfect,” Ryan said. “But this legislation addresses important priorities and makes us stronger at home and abroad.”

Really Paul? The deficits are about to top Obama’s 1 trillion for the next three years, the Chinese are switching oil futures to yuan backed SDR instead of US dollar, and the National debt is already 21 trillion dollars.

That “financial outrage” has drawn opposition from some fiscal conservatives and could make passage a potentially tricky process.

Erick Jamal Hendricks, 37, of Charlotte, North Carolina, was convicted today by a jury in Akron, Ohio, of attempting and conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization.

“Erick Jamal Hendricks represents the significant online ISIS threat that we face daily – a US citizen that becomes radicalized online and attempts to recruit and train individuals to commit jihad, all while on American soil,” said Special Agent in Charge Anthony. “The FBI urges the public to report information regarding individuals pledging their allegiance to ISIS or other identified terrorist groups. The FBI is pleased that Hendricks was stopped before he was successful and now will spend a significant amount of time behind bars.”

According to court documents and trial testimony, Hendricks tried to recruit people to train together and conduct terrorist attacks in the United States on behalf of ISIS, including Amir Al-Ghazi who was arrested after attempting to purchase an AK-47 assault rifle and ammunition, and “brothers” Elton Simpson and Nadir Hamid Soofi who became part of an organized terrorist attack.

4…………> Fentanyl Bust: Ohio

Two men and a woman from Texas are in custody Wednesday after authorities seized a package of fentanyl destined for Ohio.

“Fentanyl is a dangerous synthetic opioid with deadly consequences for users and those in law enforcement,” said HSI Detroit Special Agent in Charge Steve Francis. “This significant seizure clearly demonstrates HSI’s resolve to combatting the ongoing epidemic affecting Ohio, which we redoubled last week by pledging increased resources in the state.”

The seizure comes days after ICE and Ohio officials announced that HSI special agents had trained more than 300 law enforcement personnel in the state on “Darknet” and virtual currency, which is increasingly how synthetic opioids are purchased.

“The fentanyl seized last night is enough to kill everyone in Toledo several times over,” said U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio Justin Herdman. “This is a great example of law enforcement working together to make our community safer.”

Amor M. Ftouhi, 50, of Montreal, Canada, who was previously indicted in July 2017, for charges relating to an attack on a Bishop Airport officer in Flint, Michigan, was charged today with an additional offense of committing an act of terrorism transcending national boundaries.

According to court records, Mr. Ftouhi entered the United States from Canada for the purpose of killing government personnel in the United States. Before entering the United States on June 16, 2017, while in Canada, Mr. Ftouhi conducted online research of American gun laws and for gun shows in Michigan. Mr. Ftouhi subsequently traveled to Michigan where he was unsuccessful in purchasing a gun and purchased a knife instead. On June 20, 2017, Mr. Ftouhi walked up to the victim, who is a lieutenant with the Bishop Airport Authority and was in full uniform, and stabbed the police officer in the neck with a knife. Mr. Ftouhi referenced killings in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and yelled “Allahu Akbar.” After his arrest, Mr. Ftouhi told law enforcement that he was a “soldier of Allah” and subscribed to the ideology of al-Qaeda and Usama bin Laden.

Crewmembers assigned to the “Fighting Tigers” of Patrol Squadron Eight (VP-8) rescued three fishermen Feb. 20, whose 19-foot vessel was adrift in the South Pacific for eight days, carrying food and water, but no safety equipment or radios on a fishing expedition near Chuuk Lagoon in the Federated States of Micronesia.


Navy’s newest maritime patrol aircraft, the P-8A Poseidon, which is equipped with an advanced APY-10 multifunction radar and MX-20 camera system,  located the ship in distress after only three hours and the aircrew deployed a UNI-PAC II Search and Rescue (SAR) kit, that include medical supplies, food, water, communications and signaling equipment.

Three “Hip, Hip, Hooray” for the lucky fishermen, and their brave Navy brothers.

A school resource deputy named Deputy Scot Peterson who was on patrol at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, resigned after video surveillance showed he never entered the school, waiting four minutes even though he knew there was a shooting taking place, authorities said.

Sheriff Scott Israel during a press conference Thursday said video showed Peterson arriving at the west side of the building where the shooting took place. Peterson, Israel said, took up a position but “never went in.”

In fact, medical professionals reported the small town down in Appalachia with about 10,000 inhabitants, recorded a shipment of 1,000,000 opioid pills.

“If you overexpose a society or culture to cheap, plentiful food, you’ll have an obesity epidemic,” Ingram says. “If you overexpose a culture to opioids, you’re going to have an opioid epidemic. And it wasn’t just Kentucky that got overexposed. We just got overexposed first.”

The civil complaints were filed in federal court in the Eastern District of California, the District of Maryland, the Middle District of North Carolina, and the Southern District of Texas (two cases), against Ricardo De Leon of Mexico, Christian Oribello Eguilosof of the Philippines, Carlos Noe Gallegos of Mexico, Alwin Farouk Gariba of Guyana, and Moises Javier Lopez of  Colombia.

“Those who wish to become American citizens ought to respect our laws and seek citizenship lawfully and honestly,” said Attorney General Jeff Sessions. “Anyone who lies, misleads, or omits critical information in an attempt to evade the requirements for naturalization undermines the credibility of our nation’s generous lawful immigration system. This Justice Department will continue to seek out fraudsters and bring them to justice by obtaining orders revoking their naturalized citizenship.”

Short position at 24850 was covered for a gain of 50 DIA points, and new long position established at 24900, sell stop at 24850 for a loss of 50 DIA points.

 Declaring America is “open for business” under his leadership, US President Donald Trump has told a gathering of political and business elites that despite the economic growth taking place in the US, he won’t turn blind eye to unfair trade, and called for sovereign nations to cooperate towards shared goals.


“As President of the United States, I will always put American first just as the leaders of other countries should put their countries first,” Mr Trump said.

“When the United States grows, so does the world,” Mr Trump said.

“American prosperity has created countless jobs around the globe and the drive for excellence, creativity and innovation in the United States has led to important discoveries that help people everywhere live more prosperous and healthier lives,” President Trump concluded.

As Forum chairman Klaus Schwab introduced him to the audience, the President said it was not until he became a politician that he realized “how nasty, how mean, how vicious and how fake the press can be”, a remark that drew “boos” from some politically correct types.

“America is open for business and we are competitive once again. We support free trade but it needs to be fair and it needs to be reciprocal,” Mr Trump said.

An investigative report by a Senate subcommittee shows that drug makers in China are funneling opioids such as fentanyl into the United States through the mail, with American government agencies doing little to stop it.
