Verified account 20 minutes ago
I would like to begin today’s remarks by providing an update on the packages and devices that have been mailed to high-profile figures throughout our Country, and a media org. I am pleased to inform you that law enforcement has apprehended the suspect and taken him into custody.

Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this “Bomb” stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows – news not talking politics. Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!

Twitter has removed many people from my account and, more importantly, they have seemingly done something that makes it much harder to join – they have stifled growth to a point where it is obvious to all. A few weeks ago it was a Rocket Ship, now it is a Blimp! Total Bias?

The United States has been spending Billions of Dollars a year on Illegal Immigration. This will not continue. Democrats must give us the votes to pass strong (but fair) laws. If not, we will be forced to play a much tougher hand.

Funny how lowly rated CNN, and others, can criticize me at will, even blaming me for the current spate of Bombs and ridiculously comparing this to September 11th and the Oklahoma City bombing, yet when I criticize them they go wild and scream, “it’s just not Presidential!”

2…………> “End To Free Loading”: Trump ‘
.
.
‘It’s time to end the global freeloading once and for all,’ since for far too long, the United States has been footing the bill for lower drug prices—in foreign countries. American patients and taxpayers unfairly subsidize worldwide drug innovation while patients overseas get much lower prices from drug makers. Medicare, in particular, has shouldered an outrageously high burden. Today, President Donald J. Trump is launching actions to confront global freeloading and lower medicine prices for American patients. The heart of the effort is pure: putting forward a new way for Medicare to pay for certain drugs that are based on rates that other developed countries pay. That action alone is projected to reduce Medicare’s payments for these drugs by an incredible 30 percent over the next five years. And a related plan will fix the perverse incentives for doctors to administer more expensive medications to patients. Driving down drug costs has been a top priority for this President since day one, and Americans already see results: In the 100 days following the release of President Trump’s blueprint for lower drug costs, more than a dozen drug companies reduced their list prices, rolled back planned price increases, or froze their estimates for the rest of the year. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) set a new record for generic approvals last year, approving more than 1,000 generics that will bring an estimated $9 billion in savings in 2018. President Trump signed a law to end unfair gag clauses, which prevented pharmacists from telling patients when they could pay less out of pocket than if they used insurance to cover certain medicines.

3…………> “Mail Bomber Caught”: Florida
A 56-year-old Florida man identified as Cesar Sayoc, a registered Republican with a long rap sheet of threats against government officials has been arrested in connection with a mail-bombing campaign aimed at critics of US President Donald Trump, law enforcement officials saying that more arrests could follow.
Speaking at an event at the White House, Mr. Trump praised law enforcement for the quick arrest of the suspect, describing the search as looking for a “needle in a haystack.”
“These terrorizing acts are despicable and have no place in our country,” he said. “We will prosecute… them to the fullest extent of the law. We will never allow political violence to take root in our country.”
Investigators said mail-bombs were functional but unstable, meaning they could be set off merely by handling, and have timers easily bought at retail outlets. But experts speaking to several US media outlets have cast doubt on their effectiveness after seeing X-ray images. New York Police Commissioner James O’Neill could not confirm whether all the devices were intended to explode, but he said officials “are treating them as suspected explosive devices.”

4…………> “C’mon Over, Vladimir”: Trump To Putin
President Donald Trump has asked his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, to visit Washington next year, according to US National Security Adviser John Bolton who did not made it is clear if Mr. Putin has accepted the kind invitation.
The two leaders have met several times on the sidelines of international meetings but have held only one bilateral summit, in Helsinki in July, and they are expected to meet briefly in Paris next month to mark the anniversary of the end of World War One.
Speaking at a news conference in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, Mr. Bolton said: “We have invited President Putin to Washington after the first of the year [2019] for basically a full day of consultations. What the scheduling of that is we don’t quite know yet.”
