At least five people were stabbed at a rabbi’s house in Monsey, north of the city of New York, a crime labeled as an act of “domestic terrorism”, according to the State governor Andrew Cuomo.   The attacker who was later arrested in New York’s Harlem area, apparently burst into the house, which was hosting a Hanukkah celebration, pulled out a large knife and began attacking people. Desperate guests threw tables and chairs at the man, who then attempted to enter a synagogue next door before fleeing in a car, unfortunately for him, his vehicle registration was passed to police and license plate scanners picked up the car as it entered New York City, where he was detained.

Police have named him as Grafton Thomas, 37, of Greenwood Lake, New York.

The incredible heat of Australia’s summer had country’s cuddliest marsupials  suffering from the continent’s extreme weather, with over 2,000 dying from heat and dehydration, but one imaginative koala found a solution, stopping some cyclists to sip from their water bottle.

A video posted on Instagram by cyclist Anna Heusler shows the desperate marsupial climbing onto the frame of a bicycle to get a better sip.

The cyclists, who were riding towards Adelaide in 40°C (104°F) heat, spotted the koala as they came around a bend on the road.

“Naturally, we stopped because we were going to help relocate him off the road,” Ms. Heusler told Australia’s 7 News.(ABC.Net.AU)

 US Navy has been more open of late about what it describes as “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena”, as gun camera footage from Navy fighter planes showing highly advanced aircraft being operated by unknown pilots has been made available this year.

The craft shown in the clips perform amazing and apparently impossible – at our current level of technology –aerobatic feats, accelerating to incredible speeds and then coming to a sudden dead halt.

Now a video of a fascinating UFO triangular object has made the news, but  given its extreme altitude, it appears to be very large in size, and the person who recorded the video claims that they saw a red “orb” type object being dropped from the triangular craft.
