A Pittsburgh-area gang member identified by FBI as Brett Rodgers, 33, has been sentenced in federal court to 16 years and eight months (200 months) in prison on his conviction of conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, after a wiretap targeting the Greenway Boy Killas (GBK) street gang and drug trafficking in and around an area known as the Greenway Projects, located in the West End of the City of Pittsburgh. The wiretap investigation revealed that from in and around November 2017 through in and around June 2018, Brett Rodgers conspired to distribute 28 grams or more of crack cocaine, primarily in and around the Greenway Projects.

“Brett Rodgers is one of 28 members and associates of the violent GBK street gang charged last June with drug trafficking. Gangs like GBK terrorize their communities and force law-abiding citizens to live in fear,” said U.S. Attorney Brady.

“The people of the West End are safer today than they were last year, while Rodgers will have the next decade-and-a-half to reflect on his illegal conduct.”

A former resident of Clairton, Pennsylvania, identified as Elliot Page, 38, has been sentenced in federal court to nine years’ imprisonment, followed by 10 years’ supervised release, on his conviction of conspiring to distribute narcotics and unlawful possession of firearms, after found guilty of supplying fentanyl to his codefendants, Skyler Carter and Cecil Shields, and others, for further distribution in the area.

Agents seized approximately two pounds of fentanyl and three firearms during the execution of a federal search warrant at Page’s residence on July 6, 2017.

Page had three prior felony drug offenses and was forbidden from possessing a firearm.

A Delta passenger plane has made an emergency landing after part of one of its engines came loose in mid-air, with video shot by a passenger shows a spinner bouncing around in a turbine with red hot glowing shaft, forcing the crew to make an emergency landing in Raleigh, North Carolina, and placing the passengers on another aircraft.

Aviation expert John Cox said it was “extraordinarily rare” for an engine to lose its spinner.

“I have been around this type of engine [a Pratt and Whitney JT-8] since 1980,” Mr Cox said.

“I have never seen or heard of a spinner coming off.”

Pratt and Whitney described its JT8D and JT8D200 series as the “most popular modern commercial engines ever made”, powering nearly one third of the world’s commercial planes, with “More than 14,000 of them have been built, amassing more than half a billion hours of reliable service since 1964,”

The US Senate has voted 54-45 confirming President Donald Trump’s attorney general pick William Barr to serve in the role for a second time, with nearly every Republican and three Democrats voted to confirm Mr. Barr, who will head the politically independent US Justice Department.

Mr. Barr previously held the attorney general title from 1991 to 1993 under Republican President George H. W Bush and as the nation’s top law official, will oversee the special counsel’s Russia investigation, angering the left-leaning Democrats with his previous criticism of the Russia inquiry.

AG Barr will take charge from treacherous Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who was appointed when Mr. Barr’s predecessor Jeff Sessions recused himself, and oversee the special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia inquiry, and outrage of American injustice called a “witch-hunt” by President Trump.

The main question remains: Will AG Barr now investigate infamous Hillary “I have no recollection of my email server” Clinton, and her hoodlum associates of the “Deep State” parallel US government that has been trying to negate the will of the American people and impeach a democratically elected President?
