A Warren, Michigan, man was arrested by special agents with ICE, as Corey Cook, 30, appeared in federal court in Detroit after a criminal complaint was filed, charging him with depredation of government property.
According to court documents, on July 19, following a review of surveillance footage, authorities observed Cook taking out a can, which he shakes, and then he is observed spray painting the words “F— ICE” on the ICE sign in front of its Mt. Elliot office, and upon completion of the graffiti, he is observed placing the can of spray paint in a bag, and then walking off.
If convicted, Cook faces a maximum statutory penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

A Saudi man who is a former Oklahoma resident, was sentenced to nearly 13 years in federal prison for making a false statement to the FBI about his attendance at an al Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan in late 2000, and for visa fraud.
Naif Abdulaziz M. Alfallaj, 35, a citizen of Saudi Arabia and a former resident of Weatherford, Oklahoma, was taken into custody by the FBI without incident, based on a criminal complaint signed in the Western District of Oklahoma, after the FBI found 15 of Alfallaj’s fingerprints on an application to an al Qaeda training camp, known as al Farooq, which was one of al Qaeda’s key training sites in Afghanistan leading up to the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
U.S. District Judge Scott L. Palk sentenced Alfallaj to 151 months in prison. This sentence consists of 120 months – the statutory maximum – for visa fraud, and 96 months – also the statutory maximum – for making a false statement.

If you’re assuming the impeachment brawl that’s unfolding in Washington will lead to Donald Trump’s demise, hold up, since choosing down this path could backfire on the Democrats, and while there’s some distance yet to travel in this sorry saga, some of the early numbers are worth your attention.
First, since the impeachment inquiry was announced Mr Trump’s approval ratings haven’t slumped as his opponents hoped. In one poll, his overall job performance actually hit its highest level this year, reaching 49 per cent, just below all time high of 51%.
It took less than six hours after Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the impeachment inquiry for the Trump campaign to launch an all-out fundraising blitz, and it took less than 48 hours for the campaign to rake in $US13 million and 50,000 new donors, according to Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale.
Mr. Trump and the Republican National Committee raised a whopping $US125 million in the third quarter, putting the total amount raised around $US300 million, more than double what then-president Barack Obama had at this point during his 2011 re-election bid.

According to newly released documents, there was to be a meeting between the US president and his Ukrainian counterpart based on the results of a widely debated phone call that hit a raw nerve with the Democrats, but the plans appear to have been ditched, with one WH diplomat arguing that there was never any quid pro quo.
The US House Intelligence, Oversight and Reform, and Foreign Affairs Committees, which are in charge of impeachment hearings, released a trove of text exchanges between top US diplomats revealing their internal turmoil regarding Ukraine on Thursday night.
The documents suggest that US diplomats told Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky that a high-profile White House visit to meet Donald Trump had to do with him making a public statement vowing to thoroughly look into Hunter Biden’s company, which is embroiled in a corruption row, and a potential Ukrainian role in the 2016 elections.
