2…………> Biometric Hack: Kumar, Is That You?

India’s highest court has upheld the legality of the nation’s controversial biometric identity database, saying it does not violate citizens’ rights to privacy.

Indian residents cannot receive welfare food rations and other benefits without being entered into Aadhaar, despite a concern the system is vulnerable to security breaches as an Indian newspaper has already bought access to personal data by paying hackers about $10.

With more than 1 billion people already enrolled in the database, and all residents of India required to hand over their details to the giant database, including their iris scans and fingerprints if they want essential services, the worst is yet to come.

3…………> Cold War 2.0: The Motion Picture

A Cold War with 21st-century characteristics between US and China?

Their economic interdependence should be a powerful restraint on the worst instincts of the two countries, since China and the US have also established an extensive range of bilateral mechanisms to manage their complicated relationship.

There are around 1,000 meetings between the states every year, ranging from summit level down to mid-ranking officials, covering issues from trade and investment to coastguard and fisheries. The two countries know they have to work hard to ensure the competitive dynamic does not spiral out of control. And of course, both sides’ nuclear weapons act as a tremendous disciplining force, providing even the most heated of relationships can remain short of outright conflict.

Still, despite of their many meetings, there are good reasons to think a Cold War 2.0 might be a good deal closer than we realize.

4………… > GRU Records: Real Spies Names

The real identity of one of the Russian intelligence officers suspected of the Salisbury nerve agent poisoning, aka as Ruslan Boshirov is GRU Colonel Anatoliy Chepiga, a soldier who served in Chechnya and was awarded the highest state award – “Hero of the Russian Federation”, usually bestowed personally by President Vladimir Putin.

UK investigators have said Mr. Boshirov was a Russian intelligence officer, who traveled to the UK on a false passport, under a pseudonym, with another Russian national who used the name, Alexander Petrov, both being suspects in the Novichok poisoning of  x-spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia.

5…………> Trump’s New Beast: Chem Attack-Resistant Limo

President Trump’s brand-new Cadillac limousine, fresh off the assembly lines, costs $1.5 million and is equipped with a range of medical supplies, including a fridge stocked with his blood samples.  The latest version of the “Beast”, weighing around 20,000 pounds, 8 inch thick walls armored with steel, aluminum and even ceramics, capable of meeting any threat, comes with run-flat tires, which will keep the vehicle running even in an emergency, and is sealed against biochemical attacks.

In the event of an attack, with an assailant breaching security, there is also a “good o’l shotgun” and a tear gas cannon hidden inside.

1…………> A Trump Win: DACA Illegal

Judge Roger W. Titus ruled the judges in California and New York who blocked the phaseout tried to substitute their own judgments for that of the Homeland Security Department, crossing constitutional lines in order to strike at Mr Trump’s policies, and went even further, praising the administration for the way it handled the situation with a six-month decision delay.

Ruling that the DACA program is legal, is doing little to solve the ongoing court quagmire and does not overturn two other federal courts, but it does offer a needed boost as the Justice Department appeals those other two rulings.

“This decision took control of a pell-mell situation and provided Congress — the branch of government charged with determining immigration policy — an opportunity to remedy it. Given the reasonable belief that DACA was unlawful, the decision to wind down DACA in an orderly manner was rational,” the judge wrote.

2…………> Trump’s ICE Broom: NM

Federal immigration agents arrested 23 people across New Mexico and west Texas on suspicion of being in the country illegally, as they served notices of employment audits to 131 businesses across the state and a swath of 18 counties in Texas over the past week when the arrests were made. Businesses are being given three days to provide hiring records that deal with employees’ immigration status.

Agency regional spokeswoman Nina Pruneda says three of the individuals face criminal charges related to illegal re-entry to the United States or firearm possession or both.

3…………> Back To Beria Poisons: UK

British spy aka retired Russian GRU(Russia Military Intelligence) Sergei Skripal, 66 – who was granted refuge in the UK in 2010 as part of a “spy swap” – and his 33-year-old daughter are critically ill in hospital, as police are trying to identify a substance which caused the former agent convicted of spying for Britain to collapse in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

The pair were found slumped unconscious on a bench at the Maltings shopping centre on Sunday with no visible injuries, and officers are investigating whether a crime had been committed.

Temporary Assistant Chief Constable Craig Holden said: “They are currently being treated for suspected exposure to an unknown substance…

“The focus is trying to establish what has caused these people to become critically ill.

“We are working with partners to prioritise this diagnosis and ensure that they receive the most appropriate and timely treatment.”

5…………> A “Family Quarrel”: Trump vs GOP Establishment

“No, we’re not backing down. We’ve had a very bad deal with Mexico, we’ve had a very bad deal with Canada — it’s called NAFTA,” Mr Trump said in the Oval Office, seated with visiting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as globalist clowns led by House Speaker Paul “Romney Jr.” Ryan and other congressional Establishment Republicans warned of a possible trade war.

Mr Trump insisted that he will impose tariffs on steel and aluminium imports, but indicated Canada and Mexico could be exempt if they renegotiate the NAFTA, despite fears that it may spark retaliation and a global trade war.
