Malaysia’s air force says 16 Chinese military transport planes came close to violating Malaysian airspace without contacting the regional air traffic controller despite being instructed several times, after they were detected conducting “suspicious” activity over the South China Sea, and naturally China’s embassy in Kuala Lumpur did not immediately respond to a request for comment, despite pushing an expansive claim over the waterway.
The air force said they were forced to scramble jets on Monday to conduct visual confirmation after the planes flew within 60 nautical miles off the coast of Sarawak state of Malaysian Borneo.

Despite that a professor of astrophysics named Dr. Adam Frank at the University of Rochester voiced his skepticism regarding the alleged sightings of extraterrestrial spacecraft, labeling it  far-fetched it might appear, and “less extreme than positing a visit from extraterrestrials”, in a column recently published by The New York Times, he suggested that, while the so called UFO sightings that date back to at least 1947 – the time of the Roswell incident – have become “synonymous in the popular imagination with evidence of extraterrestrials… scientifically speaking, there is little to warrant that connection”. Pointing at the accounts of some US Navy pilots who spoke about running into “flying objects shaped like Tic Tacs or other unusual forms”, with aircraft cameras recording “amorphous shapes moving in surprising ways”, the scientist noted that it actually “doesn’t amount to much”.

Minsk’s border agency has announced new rules that will make it nearly impossible to leave the country, as longtime leader Alexander Lukashenko appears to be closing all the exits to the Belarus’ border with security agency announced a severe tightening of already strict rules limiting citizens’ ability to exit the country — even if they have long-term residency permits abroad. The changes, which the agency said were temporary and designed to stop the spread of the coronavirus, essentially block all land border crossings.

BEIJING, June 1 (Xinhua) — China will act to address the challenges facing the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) due to the recent hike in commodity prices, as  Wang Jiangping, vice minister of industry and information technology, said at a press conference that the ministry will step up price monitoring and work together with other government departments to deal with the pressure on SMEs brought by the sharp rise in raw material prices.

Due to multiple factors, especially the seepage of global price rises into the Chinese market since the beginning of this year, some commodities have seen an extended price rally, with the prices of some varieties hitting new records.
