Following the publication of the names of a long list of “Deep State” officials and dedicated Trump haters who had received an “I love you note” in the mail wrapped to a hand grenade, the president has called on people to be more civil in politics. Speaking to the press after parcels containing explosives ended up at CNN and top D.C. swamp inhabitants, including our beloved 1st Muslim President, Grand Ayatollah Barack Obama, and Hillary “I have no recollection of my email server” Clinton, Mr.Trump said that full power of the government would be used to find and punish the perpetrators.

Thankfully none of the packages exploded, and the FBI has launched a hunt for their sender.

Four additional members of Chicago area criminal street gang, the Latin Dragons Nation, have been charged with racketeering conspiracy and other related offenses in a second superseding indictment unsealed today, Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and U.S. Attorney Thomas L. Kirsch II for the Northern District of Indiana announced.

According to the second superseding indictment, the Latin Dragons Nation is a criminal street gang that originated in Chicago and spread to other areas, including the Northern District of Indiana. Members and associates of the Latin Dragons Nation allegedly engage in acts of violence, including murder, attempted murder, witness tampering, and assault, to protect the gang’s territory and drug operations. Latin Dragons Nation gang members are required by gang rules to take immediate violent action against anyone who threatens them and gain respect and status within the gang by doing so. The four additional defendants charged in the nine-count indictment are Gustavo Colunga aka “Barkley,” 25, of Hammond, Indiana; Joshua Harris-White aka “BJ,” 24, of Chicago, Illinois; Mario Colunga, 30, of Whiting, Indiana; and Luis Colunga, aka “Panson,” 28, of Chicago, Illinois.

The second superseding indictment is part of ongoing efforts to curb the activities of violent street gangs in the Northern District of Indiana. An indictment is merely an allegation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. If convicted, any specific sentence to be imposed will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines. The maximum penalty for murder in aid of racketeering is death or in the alternative a mandatory life sentence.

A massive explosion caused by a collision between a truck carrying cars and a tanker that was transporting flammable substances, which exploded upon impact left one person dead, at least 60 people injured with severe burns and a bridge partially collapsed on a highway near the northern city of Bologna.

Italian firefighters sent multiple rescue and emergency squads, including one from their urban search and rescue team, and closed off the road where the crash took place as well as the surrounding area in Borgo Panigale, on the outskirts of Bologna.

New Mexico police have rescued 11 malnourished children, aged one to 15, who had no shoes, wearing rags and “looked like Third World refugees,” and were being kept in appaling conditions in a remote desert compound.

Authorities searched the site after receiving a message from a third party that read: “We are starving and need food and water,” but It is not clear how the group ended up at the compound in Amalia, near the state’s border with Colorado.

Five adults, including two heavily armed men, were also found in the compound described as a small underground cavity covered by plastic, with no running water or electricity, and the children were hungry, thirsty and filthy.

Not on board the Croatia bandwagon? Fair enough. This French team is pretty magnificent, and they will be incredibly hard to stop. Here’s why they will win.

Police in Chicago has clashed with protesters after an officer fatally shot a black man who was suspected of carrying a gun as a crowd of about 150 people shouted “murderers”, threw objects and jumped on police cars during the confrontation in Chicago’s South Side area.

Officers armed with batons traded punches with the protesters, and three officers sustained minor injuries and there were four arrests.
