Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg said that his campaign “unknowingly” used prison workers to call voters on his behalf, and
that he had cut ties with a vendor which operates two call centers in state jails, after learning from a reporter about the company’s use of prison labor.
“We do not support this practice and we are making sure our vendors more properly vet their subcontractors moving forward,” said the former New York mayor.

Apparently Mr. Bloomberg hired call center company ProCom that operates two centes in Oklahoma state prisons to make phone calls for his campaign.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin criticized a recent European resolution assigning some blame to the Soviet Union in the outbreak of World War II, opening fresh fires on Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, while speaking to top military officers in Moscow. He said a recent resolution from the European Parliament arguing that the 1939 non-aggression pact between Adolf Hitler’s Germany and Josef Stalin’s Soviet Union helped pave the way for World War II to break out, it is a “sheer nonsense.”
The Molotov-Ribbentrop pact — named after the two foreign ministers who signed it, Joachim von Ribbentrop and Vyacheslav Molotov — assured that neither side would attack the other unprovoked. It was signed in August 1939, barely a week before Nazi Germany invaded Poland, which would ultimately trigger the start of fully fledged military combat on the continent. The Soviet Union invaded Poland from the east two weeks later.

US Attorney for the state of Connecticut John Durham’s investigation into the origins of Russia-gate is focusing on the role that ex-CIA Director John Brennan, with one expert saying that the investigation may uncover criminal intent in the call records of the former director.
“Brennan himself has publicly taken credit for helping to spark the investigation. He told Congress in 2017 that his concerns about contact between Trump campaign officials and Russians were part of the basis for the investigation. Brennan has gone on to fan the flames and spread innuendo about improper Trump-Russia contact”, according to to an investigator.
“Mr. Trump’s claims of no collusion are, in a word, hogwash,” Brennan said in his article, backing his assertion by noting that he “had deep insight into Russian activities during the 2016 election.”
