US troops have come under fire from Turkish positions as air and artillery strikes on Kurdish militia continued in an offensive that has drawn warnings of a humanitarian catastrophe, after Trump administration warned of “serious consequences” for offensive Turkey vows to continue until all Kurdish militia forces are “neutralized.”

None of the Americans was hurt, since it was the first time a coalition base was in the line of fire since the offensive began, however Turkey said the US was not targeted, and the Turkish Defense Ministry said its forces were returning fire after being targeted by Kurdish fighters and ended the strike after communicating with the US. Islamic State militants have escaped prison due to Turkish shelling, and an estimated 100,000 people fled from their homes in north-eastern Syria in the past few days.

Shelley M Richmond Joseph, 51, of Natick, who was appointed as a Massachusetts District Court Judge in November 2017, and Wesley MacGregor, 56, of Watertown, a former Trial Court Officer since 1993, were indicted on one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice and two counts of obstruction of justice – aiding and abetting.

 Prior to the afternoon session, the courtroom clerk – at Joseph’s direction – allegedly instructed the ICE officer to leave the courtroom and wait outside in the lobby, stating that in the event that the defendant was released, it would be through the courtroom and into the lobby.

MacGregor was also charged with perjury for falsely testifying before a federal grand jury on July 12, 2018, that, prior to releasing the defendant from the sally-port exit, he was unaware that ICE agents were in the Courthouse and that there was a detainer for the defendant.

The charges of conspiracy to obstruct justice and obstruction of a federal proceeding – aiding and abetting provide for sentences of no greater than 20 and five years in prison, respectively; five and three years of supervised release, respectively; and a fine of $250,000.

Two owners of an Arizona business were charged in an indictment unsealed today for overseeing a scheme to forge hundreds of thousands of counterfeit documents containing improperly obtained personal information, primarily relating to senior citizens, which they allegedly sold to their clients, who then allegedly provided this information to telemarketers.

  The indictment further alleges that Pavone and DiPrima directed a team of employees and associates to write the personal information of the victims onto the counterfeit sweepstakes forms, even though the victims had not agreed to this use, and even though many of the victims had never responded to a sweepstakes mailing.

 DiPrima, 49, of Penfield, New York, were charged in an indictment filed on April 23, 2019 in the District of Arizona with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, one count of wire fraud, one count of conspiracy to commit identity theft, seven counts of identity theft, and seven counts of aggravated identity theft.

The indictment alleges that beginning in approximately 2013, Pavone and DiPrima acquired lists of names and contact information for thousands of people—primarily senior citizens—and used this information to create fake sweepstakes leads, which they then sold to their clients as authentic.

Anita Hill demanded that Joe Biden show “real accountability” for his handling of her complaints during Clarence Thomas’ confirmation in Congress, saying the former vice-president called her before announcing his presidential bid, but she said his apology ain’t enough without “real change”, because the hearing was conducted by an all-white, all-male panel: a.k.a “crackers“, and several women apparently willing to corroborate Ms. Hill’s account were not called to testify by Mr Biden.

The confirmation event is considered a political embarrassment for Mr Biden, who remains a favorite to secure the Democratic nomination.

Symone Sanders, a political strategist and Democrat,  joined the campaign staff of former US Vice President “Sleepy Joe” Biden, who is now seeking to be elected president in 2020, even though a few years ago, she vehemently opposed white people running the show in the Democratic Party, insisting that she wanted “to hear from the millennials and the brown folks” when it comes to the Democratic Party leadership, which apparently did not deter her from siding with the presidential candidate who’s neither a millennial nor brown: i.e. “a cracker”.

“In my opinion we don’t need white people leading the Democratic Party right now. The Democratic Party is diverse, and it should be reflected as so in leadership and throughout the staff at the highest levels,” she said.
