Happy Labor Day! Our country is doing better than ever before with unemployment setting record lows. The U.S. has tremendous upside potential as we go about fixing some of the worst Trade Deals ever made by any country in the world. Big progress being made!

Richard Trumka, the head of the AFL-CIO, represented his union poorly on television this weekend. Some of the things he said were so against the working men and women of our country, and the success of the U.S. itself, that it is easy to see why unions are doing so poorly. A Dem!

US Senate candidate, VA
In the U.S. Senate, I’ll be working WITH @realDonaldTrump on his #MAGA agenda — and that includes having the backs of ALL workers in our country.
2…………> Duterte In Holy Land: Weapons Deal
The brain dead bureaucrats of US Department of State have done it again: slapped sanctions on a long term friend of the US, de-facto sending multi million dollar contract in the open arms of a dealer down the street who is selling good merchandise at a reasonable price, minding their own business and don’t lecture people how to live their lives.
Enter Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte who received a warm welcome by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the first day of his Middle East visit.
In the first such visit by a Philippine president, the two leaders signed three bilateral agreements,
one aimed at improving the work conditions of Filipino workers in Israel, and the second to purchased Israeli-made weapons such as Galil assault rifles and pistols for its 120,000-strong police personnel.
On Wednesday, Duterte is expected to lay wreaths at the Open Doors Monument in Rishon Letzion, 8 km south of Tel Aviv, in commemoration of the Philippines’ efforts to save the Jews during the Holocaust.

3…………> Give Me Rice, More Rice: China
Super hybrid rice output in test fields in southwestern Yunnan Province has set a new world record,
with the latest output of three plots at a super hybrid rice demonstration base located in Datun Township in the city of Gejiu reaching an average of 1,152.3 kg per mu (about 0.07 hectares).
With an average temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, the base lies at an altitude of more than 1,200 meters above sea level. Proper annual precipitation and flat terrain also contribute to the harvest of hybrid rice, according to Xie Hua’an, leader of the research team.(Xinhua)

4…………> MYGA: Youngstown, Ohio
Once dubbed as the “Manhattan of the Midwest,” Youngstown, Ohio has been stricken by the decline of the US steel industry in a region crushed by a decades-long downdraft of harsh economic realities mostly beyond its power.
“Well my daddy come on the Ohio works, when he comes home from world war two, now the yard’s just scrap and rubble, them big boys did what Hitler couldn’t do,” a local resident recalls.
The town of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, also known as the Steel Valley, remain at the center of understanding the ascendance of Donald Trump. A traditionally Democratic stronghold with a significant union presence in the mills that once were the backbone of America’s industrial might, steel’s decline in the second half of the 20th century painfully disrupted the illusion of everlasting economic security and riches.
“Has President Trump’s hand came down and laid its blessings only on the Mahoning Valley?” asked Tracey Winbush, president of the Ohio Black Republicans Association. “No. But that is not what the president is supposed to do, either.”
“Right now, we are just working. People have confidence. And when people have confidence, they spend. And when they spend, they invest.” (DW)

5…………> “Achtung”: Hornet Attack
A vast swarm of hornets moved 18 people wounded during a wine festival in the southwestern Islamic Merkeldom of Germany’s town of Weingarten, with thirteen festivalgoers ending up requiring hospital treatment.
Emergency services were called to the town near Karlsruhe, after a vicious swarm of hornets attacked festivalgoers. Eighteen people were injured, 13 of whom required medical treatment, authorities said.
It is not the first time a swarm of hornets made headlines in Germany this summer. A few weeks ago, groups of pensioners were attacked during a hiking trip. Eight people were hurt and required medical treatment.
