Erika Paola Intriago, 44, of Tampa, who is not a licensed attorney, fraudulently portrayed herself as an immigration attorney offering immigration-related services on social media targeting persons from Spanish-speaking countries seeking immigration-related services, asHomeland Security Investigations (HSI) Tampa is looking for additional potential victims of a Tampa woman indicted on four counts of wire fraud and three counts of wrongfully using government seals in connection with a scheme in which she fraudulently represented herself as an immigration attorney to take money from victims for services she never provided in the Tampa and Chicago areas.

 Intriago is accused of then creating fraudulent letters, emails, receipts, documents, and communications to send her victims to falsely portray the records as legitimate communications with US government agencies when in fact she never filed or completed the necessary immigration paperwork for which she was paid.

Intriago is also accused of threatening and intimidating victims who complained about her conduct by telling them that she would report their immigration status to US immigration authorities, which Intriago claimed would result in the victims being deported.

If convicted, Intriago faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison for each count of wire fraud and up to five years in federal prison for each count of wrongfully using government seals.

Turkish authorities arrested a suspected Islamic State member they believe was planning to attack tomorrow’s Anzac commemorations at Gallipoli attended by hundreds of Australians and New Zealanders, identifying him as Abdulkerim H, along with a blurred passport photo, saying planned attack was in retaliation for the Christchurch mosque attacks.

The ISIS suspect was arrested at 7am on Wednesday, and the arrest is connected to earlier arrests of ISIS suspects in the past 10 days, as hundreds of Australians are expected to attend ANAZC services at Gallipoli for memorial services on April 25 commemorating the failed 1915 military campaign by Anzac and allied forces to drive Ottoman troops from Gallipoli and the Dardanelles region.

Saudi Arabia beheaded 37 Saudi, mostly minority Shiites citizens, in a mass execution across the country for alleged terrorism-related crimes, the largest number of executions in a single day in Saudi Arabia since January 2, 2016, when the kingdom executed 47 people for terrorism-related crimes in the largest mass execution carried out by Saudi authorities since 1980

The individuals were found guilty of attacking security installations with explosives, killing a number of security officers and cooperating with enemy organizations against the interests of the country, the Interior Ministry said.

Saudi dissident Ali al-Ahmed described the executions as a politically motivated message to Iran, after the kingdom has been emboldened by Donald Trump’s unwavering dedication to pressuring Iran’s Shiite clerical leadership.

The allegations were made by Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, who left the Agency almost 30 years ago — he’s made numerous controversial claims over the years, including spreading a hoax in 2008 that Michelle Obama had been videotaped issuing slurs against white people, claiming in 2013 leading Democrat John Kerry was guilty of war crimes in Vietnam, and said al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden wasn’t a threat two months before 9/11 attack

The claims are nothing new and date back to the earliest days of Trump’s presidency — in a March 2017 White House press conference, then-presidential spokesperson Sean Spicer said that the Cheltenham-based eavesdropping agency had colluded with the former POTUS.

Three Australian warships, namely HMAS “Anzac”, HMAS “Toowoomba” and HMAS “Success” were challenged by the PLA Navy as they traveled through the disputed South China Sea transiting towards Vietnam on a three-day goodwill visit in Ho Chi Minh City.
The confrontations with the People’s Liberation Army are believed to have occurred as China was conducting its largest-ever naval exercises in the hotly contested waters.

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers arrested 33 fugitives sought for their roles in known or suspected human rights violations during a nationwide operation this week, mostly foreign nationals who all have outstanding removal orders and are subject to repatriation to their countries of origin. Of the 33 known or suspected human rights violators arrested during Operation No Safe Haven IV, eight individuals are also criminal aliens with convictions for crimes including, but not limited to battery, weapons offenses, driving while intoxicated, and resisting arrest. This operation surpassed the number of known or suspected human rights violators arrested during the first nationwide No Safe Haven operation, which took place in September 2014.

“This operation continues ICE’s work to ensure that the United States does not serve as a safe haven for those who commit human rights violations in their countries of origin,” said Thomas D. Homan, Deputy Director of ICE. “We will continue to pursue these individuals as priorities for enforcement— using our agency’s unique authorities to investigate criminal activity and to enforce immigration laws.”

Six state police officers were among 16 people killed last night in violent clashes in two municipalities in the state of Guerrero, with incidents occurring in the Costa Grande region, one in Zihuatanejo, the other in Petatlán.

“In the vicinity of El Coacoyul, a state police patrol car was attacked by about 15 armed civilians who were carrying AK-47-style assault weapons. Public security forces repelled the aggressors and killed three [gunmen],” State security spokesman Roberto Álvarez Heredia said.

He explained that the rest of the armed men then ran to a nearby hill, while the state police called for backup.

“. . . The army, the navy and ministerial police arrived at the location provoking a second confrontation that left a toll of seven civilian deaths . . .” the official said.

In the neighboring municipality of Petatlán, six state police officers were ambushed by civilians also wielding AK-47s, resulting in the deaths of all six men.
