1…………> “Avanti Popolo”: Karl Marx & China
This week marks the 200th anniversary of Karl Marx’s birth, an anti-capitalistic, cult-like, anti-Christian, anti-religion one for all, and all for one cult that grew up in Europe and found its deepest roots during 1917 October revolution under Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, the founder of the infamous Soviet Union, and its clandestine network of gulags where an estimated 20 million “refuseniks”, including my uncle meet a grizzly end in the frozen wilderness of Siberia.
One of Lenin’s most dedicated students and admirers, “cult of personality” leader Mao Zedong founded China’s modern communist state, and over the past decades, Marxism has been the foundation of many theories developed by the Chinese communists to guide the nation. Its successful practice in China has inspired generations of Chinese people, and it has even become popular among Chinese youth. Marxism and Marx, it seems, is hip.
“Through almost 50 years of weal and woe, the common cause of striving for happiness for all humanity that Marx and Jenny shared, demonstrated what should be the foundation of a marriage,” opined Wang, a junior student at Renmin University.
What many followers of the Marxist ideology fail, or refuse to understand is the endless gulf between the wording of the Communist Manifesto and the actual relentless brutality of the secret police in enforcing a state based on centralized and inefficient economic system, compared to a supply and demand marketplace in most Western countries today based on tastes and preferences of free people.

3…………> China Missiles: Good Chemistry, Eh?
The “Fake News” media has been talking for some time about the “good chemistry” between the self-appointed China “Cult of Personality” leader Mr.Xi and his “Stormy Daniels” beleaguered “partner” President Donald Trump, an admiration that was supposed to blossom into a “beautiful friendship”, until a report from US intelligence indicated that PLA has moved advanced YJ-12B anti-ship cruise missiles ready to strike vessels within 295 nautical miles,
and the HQ-9B long-range, surface-to-air missiles could target aircraft, drones and cruise missiles within 160 nautical miles.

4…………> Court Ruling: Blow To China
The dreams of the world domination of Mr.Xi got a kick in the pants after an arbitration court has ruled China has no historic title over the waters of the South China Sea and that it has breached the Philippines’ sovereign rights with its actions, infuriating Beijing which dismissed the case as a farce.
The Hague based Tribunal found that China has interfered with Philippine fishing, caused irreparable harm to the reef, and not surprisingly China immediately rejected the decision, saying its people have more than 2,000 years of history in the South China Sea and its armed forces would defend its sovereignty and maritime interests.
“Adherence to international law is the foundation for peace, stability and prosperity in East Asia, as it has for many years. This decision is an important test case for how the region can manage disputes peacefully,” Aussie Minister for Foreign Affairs Ms. Julie Bishop said.
“We certainly would urge all parties not to use this as an opportunity to engage in escalatory or provocative action,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters in a briefing aboard Air Force One.

5…………..> Row The Atlantic: Solo
A brave and determined man named Duncan Hutchison, from Lochinver in the Highlands who spent his working life at sea is preparing to make an attempt to cross the North Atlantic in a wooden boat called Sleipner, named after an eight-legged horse from Norse mythology that could glide across the sea he built himself.
Mr Hutchison told BBC that the loneliness of being out at sea on his own would likely be the hardest part of the venture.
He added: “The physical side will be difficult too.
“I am doing this to prove that normal people can build a boat and row it across the Atlantic.
“That is the idea, to prove that normal people can do unusual things.”
