China has imposed tariffs of up to 25% on 128 US imports, including frozen pork, wine, nuts, ginseng and fruits for a total of $3 billion after President Trump raised duties on foreign steel and aluminum imports in March.

Beijing said the move was to “safeguard China’s interests and balance” losses caused by new US tariffs, and the Trump administration has already announced plans for further targeted tariffs for tens of billions of dollars of Chinese imports.


“When a country (USA) is losing many billions of dollars in trade with virtually every country it does business with, trade wars are good and easy to win. Example, when we are down $100 billion with a certain country and they get cute, don’t trade anymore-we win big. It’s easy!”, President Trump reportedly said.

China most powerful anti-tariff weapon is a large tax on US recyclable waste, a decision that may bring whole industries to a hard stop due to inability to store or transport their trash forbidden under local environmental laws.

Diego Morales-Ramirez, 25, a citizen of Mexico was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Ed Kinkeade to 120 months in federal prison following his guilty plea in August 2017 to one count of possession with intent to distribute a schedule II controlled substance (50 grams or more of methamphetamine) or 24.2 pounds of methamphetamine. Morales-Ramirez will be deported after he completes his prison term. He has been in custody since his arrest in March 2017.

According to documents filed in the case, on Feb. 3, 2017, Morales-Ramirez was stopped by a police officer for failing to signal while changing lanes. During the stop, Morales-Ramirez was extremely nervous and a K-9 alerted to the presence of a controlled substance inside the vehicle. Also during the stop, it was learned that Morales-Ramirez was a previously deported illegal alien. Morales-Ramirez was advised he was going to be detained for being illegally present in the United States, and officers offered to return his vehicle and some of his personal items to the apartment he just came from.

Famed defense attorney and Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz warned that the government surveillance abuses alleged in the Republican FISA memo could be a “systemic problem.”

“This may reflect a general approach that the FBI takes when they get FISA warrants, disclosing only what they want to disclose and not telling the court about information that might lead them to reach a different conclusion,” Dershowitz said on Fox News.

The memo infers that a high-ranking law enforcement official stated in closed-door testimony that without the anti-Trump dossier, the FBI would not have been able to secure surveillance warrants on at least one member of the Trump campaign.

The statement from Prof. Dershowitz, a registered Democrats and a deeply respected jurist, should be a treasured word of advice to a disgusting flock of liberal TV pundits, professional liars and other mud burrowing inhabitants of D.C. alligator infested swamp, who have been destroying the treasured framework of US Constitution and de-stabilizing the government of US from within.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions suggested he is planning to refer a newly released memo alleging bias against Donald Trump to Inspector General’s office, due to Congress spotlighting “an issue of great importance for the country” and that “concerns had been raised” about the performance of the DOJ, despite his “great confidence” in his employees, adding that “no Department is perfect”.

“Accordingly, I will forward to appropriate DOJ components all information I receive from Congress regarding this,” Mr Sessions said, vowing to “fully and fairly ascertain the truth”.

In a new and spooky application of “computer terrorism” criminal types have devised what is called as “deep fakes”: pornographic videos doctored up so that the original “actors” face is replaced with somebody else’s, enabling the transfer of sexual fantasies to the Internet, not just for fun, but also a tool of extortion of an unsuspecting and naive person.

 

Several videos have already been made involving famous politicians and TV stars faces, with the effect of destroying or demeaning a person very difficult to quantify.

 Word to the wise: Be very careful sharing treasured photos of yourself, your friends, children and associates on social media’s graveyards like Facebook, Twitter and so on. You cannot imagine what kinds of criminal are watching your every move.
