The German Health Ministry announced that people flying into Germany will be required to undergo coronavirus testing as of midnight (2300 UTC) on Sunday, March 28, and will be required to take a COVID test before departure, regardless of the coronavirus risk level in their country of origin, hence airlines will only be allowed to let passengers on board with proof of a negative COVID test.

Travelers will have to pay for the tests themselves, PCR tests, and approved rapid tests will be accepted, with airline crews are exempt, as anyone who tests positive will be required to quarantine according to local rules at their own cost.

The testing requirements are expected to last until mid-May.

Mikhailova said Navalny was taken to a hospital outside prison on Wednesday for magnetic resonance tomography but wasn’t given the results, and received pills and ointment for his pain, but prison authorities refused to accept medicines that lawyers brought to him.

US President Joe Biden was pressed on how he would address the surge in migrants at the southern border at his first official press conference, being  challenged on whether his policies could be contributing to the increase in child arrivals, as more than 17,000 juveniles are being kept in government detention centers, but he had defended his record and vowed to be transparent. He also doubled his administration’s vaccine rollout goal, saying that he now aims to have 200 million jabs be given before his 100th day in office, but the situation at the US-Mexico border dominated the event.

During the White House news conference, Mr. Biden blamed his predecessor Donald Trump for the growing humanitarian crisis on the southern border, and said it was normal for the US to experience an influx of migrants in cooler months:

“The truth of the matter is, nothing has changed,” he said.

“The reason they’re coming is that it’s the time they can travel with the least likelihood of dying on the way because of the heat in the desert.”

“I’d like to think it’s because I’m a nice guy, but it’s not,” he said, calling the surge a cyclical event.

According to court documents, Leopard joined Infraud in June 2011, offering his services as an “abuse immunity” web hoster to Infraud members who wished to create websites to sell contraband. Unlike a legitimate host, Leopard would knowingly cater to websites offering illegal goods and services, ignoring any abuse reports from internet users. He hosted a number of sites for Infraud members in this fashion, providing the infrastructure that allowed his co-conspirators to profit off of their criminal activities.

“Today’s guilty plea demonstrates the commitment of the department and our law enforcement partners to hold accountable individuals who engage in corruption, and according to court documents, between approximately 2013 and 2019, De Jongh accepted more than $7 million in bribe payments from businessmen including Jose Manuel Gonzalez Testino (Gonzalez), a dual U.S.-Venezuelan citizen, and Tulio Anibal Farias Perez (Farias), a Venezuelan national and Houston resident, and others in exchange for assisting the businessmen and related companies in procuring contracts with Citgo, and providing them with other business advantages. De Jongh admitted to directing bribe payments from Gonzalez, Farias and others into bank accounts in the names of shell companies that he controlled in Panama and Switzerland. In some instances, he also directed the creation of fake invoices to justify the payments.
