2…………> Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies Shooter Must Get Death Penalty: President Trump
. An ambush by a gunman who opened fire and wounded two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies sitting in their squad car, drew an angry response from President Trump, as the deputies were both shot in the head while sitting in their patrol car at a train station and were able to radio for help, and the 31-year-old female deputy and 24-year-old male deputy underwent surgery for multiple gunshot wounds.
The shooting, which happened a short distance from the Compton sheriff’s station, sparked an anti-police protest outside the hospital where the deputies were being treated, as authorities continued to hunt for the attacker.
Both graduated from the academy 14 months ago, and the department has tweeted video of the shooting that shows a person firing a pistol through the passenger window of the patrol car:
“The gunman walked up on the deputies and opened fire without warning or provocation,” the department stated.
. Rescuers in protective gear used dogs as they searched for the remains of people killed in the fires in a wide area of burned out buildings of several southern Oregon towns, as wildfires continue to ravage the US West Coast and officials warn of mass casualties, with ten people have died in Oregon, 22 in California and one person was killed in Washington, and authorities expect the number of fatalities to rise as search, rescue and recovery operations continue. Climate change was being blamed for the fires, but President Trump blamed forest management, with the Jackson County Sheriff’s office reporting that four people had died, but searchers earlier this week said as many as 50 people could be missing due to the wildfires.

.
A Westchester County, New York, a teacher identified as Christopher Moreno of Westchester’s Westlake High School is in a deep trouble after handing out to school kids cartoons that compare US police to slave owners and the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), a white supremacist hate group in the United States.
“My daughter showed me the paper. I said, `What is this?! You’ve got to be kidding me!’” said a Westlake HS student mom, according to a press report.
“This cartoon compares the police to the KKK. It’s an attack on the police.”

George Sorbane Quotes: When the lower half rules, the upper half suffers.
Sleepy Joe Biden has spent 47 years in politics being terrible to Hispanics. Now he is relying on Castro lover Bernie Sanders to help him out. That won’t work! Remember, Miami Cubans gave me the highly honored Bay of Pigs Award for all I have done for our great Cuban Population!
2…………> Attorney General William P. Barr at the Funeral of Cleveland Police Detective James Skernivitz
. Cleveland, OH ~ Friday, September 11, 2020 Good Morning. I am honored to be here on behalf of the United States Department of Justice to pay tribute to an American hero, Detective James Skernivitz. And Kristen, thank you for allowing me the privilege of honoring Jim today. On behalf of the department, the FBI, the entire federal law enforcement community, I extend my deepest sympathies to you, your family, Jim’s friends, neighbors, and colleagues.
Jim served with distinction, as we have heard, on the Cleveland police force for over 20 years. And in his final days, he was also a sworn officer of Operation Legend, a critical federal initiative to support state and local law enforcement in combatting violent crime here in Cleveland and in other cities. He died serving his city and the country, and both will be forever grateful. The stated mission of the Cleveland Division of Police is to “serve as guardians of the Cleveland community,” and Jim embodied that mission throughout his life. He was raised in this area, and as the chief just said, when he was asked why he wanted to become a police officer, he said because it gave him a chance to keep the city in which he grew up safe. And like so many in law enforcement, Jim was also a family man. He joined the force a year after he married Kristen and they raised their children together, while he served the city. And as we have heard, he was great at his work. He was the kind of person critical to making a successful department work. And while he never asked for recognition, he earned it, and we have heard of the many awards and distinctions that he garnered.
Two weeks ago I had the honor of visiting the gang impact unit where he worked, Jim served as part of the FBI task force in Operation Legend. As a veteran officer, he did not have to take on that dangerous mission. He could have let someone else do it, especially given the risks to police officers nowadays. But once again he volunteered, and once again he made a difference. I witnessed firsthand the superb work that he and his colleagues were doing to get violent criminals off the streets. It was only a few days after my visit that Jim was killed in the line of duty, making the ultimate sacrifice by laying down his life for the community he served.
Unfortunately, I did not know Jim personally, but in a sense I do know Jim. I know him well because I know the strength of character, the decency, the courage and the commitment, which although too uncommon in society generally, are common virtues in the ranks of America’s police. Jim represents what is great and good about our police. As has been said he was a policeman’s policeman. He epitomized the greatness of our police. And I pray his tragic death may help remind people, those that need reminding, of some of the basic truths, and help stop some of the vilification of the police that is going on these days in some quarters.
These are difficult days for law enforcement around the country. At a time when our officers have never faced greater danger and challenges, there are vocal, powerful forces, segments of society that vilify the police. Acts of resistance and physical violence against the police are not just tolerated, but sometimes glorified. Whatever one’s views are on the issue of the day, I hope people outside this arena pause and reflect on Jim’s sacrifice, and what it represents. Not just the sacrifice of his life, the ultimate sacrifice, but the sacrifice inherent in the vocation of policing. The grueling work, the gnawing stress, the ever present danger of sudden deadly violence, and the burdens and anxieties placed on family life.
I remember as I was growing up during the Vietnam War, some people were so blinded by politics that they vilified our soldiers and even spat on them. Fortunately, people have come to their senses today, and now people go out of their way to thank soldiers for their service, as well they should. You know during the first Gulf War when our troops rolled out of their bases to their embarkation points, there were crowds of people along the highway cheering them on. And when they came back there were ticker tape parades.
But when our police leave the precinct each day, to protect the safety of the community, there are no crowds cheering them and they do not get their ticker tape when they return home safe. And when they deploy, it’s not for a certain period of time, to accomplish a particular objective. Police are on deployment everyday of their service, and our police don’t have a final victory in their fight against crime. No matter how great the achievements on any day, the next day our officers put on the badge and do it all over again.
There is a special kind of courage and commitment to do this job. It’s the courage we saw 19 years ago on September 11, when officers responded to the attack on the World Trade Center, and Jim had that courage. Our officers don’t ask for thanks, but it’s time that the American people give our police the recognition and appreciation they are due, and thank them for the sacrifices they and their families make. That would be a great legacy, if we could bring some good out of the evil of Jim’s death and move closer to the day where the public recognizes the commitment and service and sacrifice of their guardians.
Jim, thank you for your sacrifice. Kristen, Bayleigh, Peyton and Matthew, thank you for your sacrifice. And thank all of you in blue in this arena and outside this arena for your service. God bless you all, and God bless the United States. Thank you.
. 3…………> Conceived Under The Nazis, Completed After WWII: Überläufer Films
..
During the Nazi dictatorship in Germany, Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels championed film art form, as he envisioned the movies as a key tool to control the masses, hence making cinema playing a prominent role as a tool for propaganda purposes, not only meant to entertain, but also to distract from the horrors of war.
After the war, Germany’s cinematic legacy fell into the hands of the Allies who didn’t quite know how to handle it at first, so the 220 films in this category concerned the blatant Third Reich propaganda films, that even today, 75 years after the end of World War II, only very few of these films are screened and only under special circumstances — the so-called “Vorbehaltsfilme” (conditional films) that include Veit Harlan’s notorious 1940 film Jud Süss (Süss the Jew).
Finally, there were a few dozen films that did not fall into any of the categories, precisely those that were later called “Überläufer” (literally, “defector”) films, works that were close to completion when Germany lost the war.

. American country music legend Willie Nelson smoked marijuana on the roof of the White House with an insider while Jimmy Carter was the US president, a story confirmed in his 1988 autobiography, where he admitted the were up there with James Earl ‘Chip’ Carter III, who smoked a “big fat Austin torpedo” with Nelson on the White House roof, adding that the iconic musician promised him “not to ever tell anybody” about the incident.
In the documentary released on Friday, titled ‘Jimmy Carter: Rock & Roll President’, the ex-president said that the person who smoked pot with the country music legend on the Whites House roof was “actually” one of his children.
“When Willie Nelson wrote his autobiography, he confessed that he smoked pot in the White House one night when he was spending the night with me,” Carter said in the documentary, which explores the 39th US president’s ties with music and musicians, according to the Los Angeles Times.

.
Two-thirds of voters in the US state of Oregon oppose nightly Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests in the state capital Portland, and only 31 per cent of citizens approved of the protests against police brutality, which the majority view as violent and unhelpful to black people or race relations:
“Most voters do not believe that the protests are helpful,” the DHM report said, adding that 56 per cent or Oregonians “believe that the protests in Portland have been mostly violent.”

…..Our massive testing capability, rather than being praised, is used by the Lamestream Media and their partner, the Do Nothing Radical Left Democrats, as a point of scorn. This testing, and what we have so quickly done, is used as a Fake News weapon. Sad!
Somebody please tell Congressman Clyburn, who doesn’t have a clue, that the chart he put up indicating more CASES for the U.S. than Europe, is because we do MUCH MORE testing than any other country in the World. If we had no testing, or bad testing, we would show very few CASES..
2…………> Florida Child Exploitation Production: County Library Employee Arrested
. JACKSONVILLE, Florida – A Putnam County man was arrested and charged with production and possession of child exploitation material last week. This case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Kurt Batucan Sheldon, 29, of Interlachen, faces a minimum mandatory penalty of 15 years, and up to 50 years, in federal prison.
Any person who was, or knows of someone who may have been, a possible child victim is urged to contact HSI at 1-866-DHS-2ICE or online tip form.
“Unfortunately, this case highlights the extreme dangers for children and social media applications,” said HSI Jacksonville Assistant Special Agent in Charge K. Jim Phillips. “Because of alert parents, and outstanding teamwork with Clay and Putnam Counties Sherriff’s Offices, this predator is no longer able to sexually exploit children.” According to the complaint, parents of a minor child made a report to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office about sexually explicit messages being sent by an adult to their daughter on Snapchat and Whisper. The adult referred to himself as “K t.” “K t” was his screen name on Snapchat, but his Snapchat username was “tacticfallout.” “K t” originally began communicating with the child on Whisper and represented himself as a male, between the ages of 25-29. The child told him that she was 15 years old. “K t” told the child that his name was “Kurt” and that he lived in Putnam. The child told “Kurt” she lived with her parents and was in school. Their conversation later moved to Snapchat and “K t” requested child exploitation material—images and videos—from the child and directed the child on how to take the images and how to pose. Approximately 50 images and/or videos were sent to “K t” at his direction. Further investigation by HSI and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office identified Sheldon’s residence as the source of the IP address used by the Snapchat account “tacticfallout,” and the Gmail account associated with this Snapchat account.
. 3…………> Oxford /AstraZeneca Resume UK COVID-19 Vaccine Trial
.
Oxford University announced it will resume a trial for a coronavirus vaccine it is developing with pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca after getting the green light from safety watchdogs, as 18,000 people around the world have received the trial vaccine, while it was in late-stage clinical trials in the US, Britain, Brazil and South Africa, with the US was aiming for fast-track approval of a vaccine before November’s presidential election. AstraZeneca, based in Cambridge, said the shutdown was triggered by a “standard review process” to allow a review of safety data by “independent committees, and international regulators”.
“The company will continue to work with health authorities across the world and be guided as to when other clinical trials can resume to provide the vaccine broadly, equitably and at no profit during this pandemic,” the company said in a statement.
4…………> US Budget Deficit Explodes To $3tn Record: Time For Precious Metals Investing?
.
Driven by the government’s massive spending on coronavirus relief, the US budget deficit is at a record high of more than $3tn, as the federal government spent more than $6tn in the first 11 months of its financial year, including $2tn on coronavirus programs, the shortfall being more than double the previous full-year record set in 2009, when Washington was in the aftermath of the 2008 housing financial crisis.
Mr. Jerome Powell, the head of the US central bank, told members of Congress that America’s spending path was “unsustainable”, but said reducing the shortfall should not be a priority given the state of the economy. The economy shrank at an annual rate of more than 30% in the April-June period, its worst quarterly contraction on record. Data suggest job layoffs and business closures are continuing.
Roughly 30 million people – about 20% of the American workforce – remain on some form of unemployment benefits, despite reopening underway, according to the Labor Department.
