US Geological Survey said a third powerful quake was recorded by geologists in several days in Southern California, with the latest tremor had 7.1 magnitude and is considered to be powerful.

 At least 159 aftershocks of magnitude 2.5 or greater were recorded after the first earthquake, according to the USGS, the intensity levels were predicted for the area and were below damaging levels, hence an alert was not triggered, according to local media reports.

The USGS web site was temporarily unavailable Friday night. Local media suggested that the seismic agency’s web site was overwhelmed with requests following the significant temblor.

 China’s Migratory Bird Sanctuaries along the coast of the Yellow Sea-Bohai Gulf (Phase I) were inscribed on the World Heritage List as a natural site on Friday at the ongoing 43rd session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in Azerbaijan’s capital of Baku.

 It is the central node of the East Asian-Australasian Flyway (EAAF), which is the most threatened migratory flyway worldwide and boasts the largest number of endangered and critically endangered species.

 Migratory Bird Sanctuaries along the coast of the Yellow Sea-Bohai Gulf of China are located in the Yellow Sea ecoregion, containing the world’s largest continuous mudflat seashore.

 The area has a high biodiversity, with about 280 species of fishes and more than 500 species of invertebrates, providing a variety of food resources for millions of migratory birds.

In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects. “The United States is the world’s largest consumer of opioids, and Mexican criminal organisations are positioning themselves as suppliers”, said Inés Giménez, a researcher of Latin American Studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico of Mexico (UNAM). 

According to United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) reports for 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 published in 2018, opium poppy cultivation in the Latin American country has steadily increased from 6,900 hectares in 2007 to 30,600 hectares in 2017.

Although the document states that world opium production in 2018 decreased compared with the historical maximum reached in the previous year, this figure is the second largest in the last decade and amounts to 7,790 tons.

In times when opioids are causing more deaths in the world than ever before, Mexico is positioned as one of the world’s largest opium producers, second only to Afghanistan.

Decker, field officer director for ERO New York, as a citizen and national of India, lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a visitor, with authorization to remain until Oct. 6, 2019, had  his visa cancelled by the U.S. Department of State. The Indian national was found to have been wanted in Germany for the rape of a minor, and it was discovered that he may have been residing in the New York City metropolitan area.

On June 12, deportation officers assigned to ERO New York’s Violent Criminal Alien Section (VCAS) and Joint Criminal Alien Removal Taskforce (JCART), with assistance from the U.S. Marshals, arrested the Indian national in Richmond Hill, New York, pursuant to the federal arrest warrant, issued in the Eastern District of New York. Talwar was subsequently remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service, pending extradition to Germany.

The Indian national was extradited to Germany Tuesday by Deputy Marshals and transferred to German law enforcement custody.

A Maryland woman pleaded guilty to theft of government money and aggravated identity theft, announced Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Richard E. Zuckerman of the Justice Department’s Tax Division and United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Robert K. Hur.

According to court documents, between 2011 and 2013, Stephanie Twyman was part of a conspiracy to fraudulently obtain tax refund checks by filing false tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) using the names and Social Security numbers of unemployed individuals.

 Twyman faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison on the theft count and a mandatory two years in prison on the aggravated identity theft count, a term of supervised release, restitution, and a fine.

 Once the refund checks in these individuals’ names were obtained, Twyman sent runners to cash the checks at a check cashing business in Clinton, Maryland, where co-conspirators worked as tellers.

 The runners brought the proceeds back to Twyman, who then paid the tellers for cashing the fraudulently obtained checks.
