2…………>Kavanaugh Confirmed, Justice Prevailed

“After one of the most intense political fights of the last two decades, Judge Brett Kavanaugh of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit has become Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh of the United States Supreme Court. This is a good thing for the integrity of our Constitution, for elementary American norms, and for the long-term health of our political institutions,” the National Review editorial board writes.

3…………>  A Climate Catastrophe: The Last Warning

How can an ordinary person help reduce global warming rate of growth to less than 1.5 Celcius? Lifestyle changes can make a big difference, said Dr. Debra Roberts, the IPCC’s co-chair  who kindly listed the steps below:

1. Buy less meat, milk, cheese, and butter and more locally sourced seasonal food – and throw less of it away.

2. Drive electric cars but walk or cycle short distances

3. Take trains and buses instead of planes

4. Use video-conferencing instead of business travel

5. Use a washing line instead of a tumble dryer

6. Insulate homes

7. Demand low carbon in every consumer product

Nations must follow the stringent limits as postulated below:

1. Global emissions of CO2 need to decline by 45% from 2010 levels by 2030

2. Renewables are estimated to provide up to 85% of global electricity by 2050

3. Coal is expected to reduce to close to zero

4. Up to seven million sq km of land will be needed for energy crops (a bit less than the size of Australia)

5. Global net zero emissions by 2050

How likely is that the world would listen to all these warnings? Unfortunately, history tells us that humanity learns only through pain, hunger, cold and fear, hence buy a quarter acre lot in cash on your daughters’ name, and on a high hill, then start digging a deep tunnel in preparation of then next world-wide catastrophe.

P.S. Make sure you have a large caliber shotgun and plenty of ammo, just in case.

5…………> America, The Land Of The Free: Except “Trumpies”

A television reporter named James Burner lost his job at KTTC-TV, an NBC affiliate outlet in Minnesota, after he was seen wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat while covering one of US President Donald Trump’s recent rallies. According to the TV station’s management, Burner effectively violated their standards of neutrality by wearing “partisan political campaign clothing” emblazoned with Trump’s campaign slogan.

”Our newsroom’s standards of professional journalism do not allow our reporters to wear partisan political campaign clothing while actively covering a political campaign event for the television station,” KTTC-TV news director Noel Sederstrom said, as quoted by The Washington Times.

“We work hard to be neutral and unbiased toward all political parties and candidates.”

Do you believe all that crap? In French this is called a “bullshit”, if you excuse the expression.

2…………> Sharia Justice: Jamal Khashoggi

Fears are growing over the missing writer Jamal Khashoggi, after Turkish officials said they believed he had met a grisly death and dismemberment.

Mr. Khashoggi, a Saudi national, was last seen visiting the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on Tuesday, and a Turkish official told the BBC that initial investigations indicated he was murdered there.

Saudi Arabia has denied the accusations, saying it is “working to search for him”, and Jamal Khashoggi went to the consulate on Tuesday to obtain a document certifying he had divorced his ex-wife, so that he could marry his Turkish fiancée, Hatice Cengiz.

Ms. Cengiz said she waited outside for 11 hours, but he did not come out.

3…………> Bulgarian Journalist: Raped and Murdered

A television journalist identified as Viktoria Marinova was brutally murdered in Bulgaria’s northern town of Ruse, after she recently reported on alleged fraud with EU funds linked to big businessmen and politicians.
Bulgarian authorities, however, have said the crime did not immediately appear linked to her work.

The investigative journalist who reported on an investigation into alleged corruption involving European Union funds, died of blows on her head and suffocation, regional prosecutor George Georgev said.

The thirty-year-old’s body was found in a park on Saturday, Georgiev said.

“Her mobile phone, car keys, glasses and part of her clothes were missing,” Georgiev said.

5…………> Dow 27,000: Is It The Top?

Following the latest uptick in interest rates by Obama appointee Jay “Janet Jr.” Powell, U.S. stocks retreated in the week ending Oct. 5, with all three major indices reported negative results, the Dow, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq decreasing 0.04 percent, 0.97 percent and 3.20 percent, respectively.

With the Vix index in oversold teritorry, the market experienced great volatility at its lows of the day, the Dow fell as much as 325.67 points. The S&P 500 broke below its 50-day moving average for the first time since July 5 before snapping back above the closely watched technical level. The Nasdaq closed as much as 1.2 percent lower.

The market has met resistance at 27,000 level of the DJI, and repeated support near 23,500. Another few tick of rates upward may lead to a broad selloff and test of the 18500 level, right before the most important election in decades.

The “Deep State” may have lost the Kavanaugh battle, but still has its most potent weapon against Trump: The invisible, real, unelected, answerable to no one true government of US aka Federal Reserve. Read “The Endless Beginning” by George Sorbane for more insides on the subject.

@realDonaldTrump

You don’t hand matches to an arsonist, and you don’t give power to an angry left-wing mob. Democrats have become too EXTREME and TOO DANGEROUS to govern. Republicans believe in the rule of law – not the rule of the mob. VOTE REPUBLICAN!

3…………> Obama’s Boys Evacuated: Again

US helicopters evacuated a number of wounded IS terrorists militants aka “Obama Boys” from Syria’s eastern Deir ez-Zor province, according to the Syrian news website Arabi Today.

On Saturday night, the militants were reportedly relocated from the town of al-Shaafah located near the Iraqi border to an unknown location, not the first time that US military aircraft have been spotted transferring terrorists like Al Nusra Brigade punks from embattled regions.

The Saturday evacuation is the latest in a series of airlifts coming amid the Syrian Army’s ongoing offensive on jihadists who still control small pockets of Deir ez-Zor, much of them empty desert.

4…………> Haiti Earthquake: Casualties

An earthquake hit the northern coast of Haiti, killing at least 11 people after a 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck just off the northwest coast of Haiti late on Saturday.

Authorities said more than 100 people were also injured when several buildings collapsed.

The quake’s epicenter was about 20 kilometers (12 miles) west-northwest of the coastal town of Port-de-Paix at a depth of 11.7 kilometers, according to the US Geological Survey. It was felt as far away as the capital, Port-au-Prince.

President Jovenel Moise called on Haitians in a Twitter post to “remain calm” amid reports of panic in several places in the north.

Président Jovenel Moïse

@moisejovenel

J’exhorte la population à garder son calme, suite au passage du séisme dont l’épicentre est localisé dans les côtes du Nord-ouest. Le système de gestion de risques et les directions régionales de la Protection civile sont en alerte pour assister les habitants des zones touchées.

5…………> Chinese Spying: Lenovo

Shares in Chinese tech giants Lenovo and ZTE fell sharply after a media report that Beijing had inserted spying devices into computers, following security officials disclosure that microchips were found in gadgets used by US government agencies.

Lenovo’s shares fell more than 15%, while ZTE lost more than 10%.

Lenovo said it did not source parts from Super Micro, the firm at the centre of the allegations.

ZTE has declined to comment.
