2…………>Kavanaugh Confirmed, Justice Prevailed
“After one of the most intense political fights of the last two decades, Judge Brett Kavanaugh of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit has become Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh of the United States Supreme Court. This is a good thing for the integrity of our Constitution, for elementary American norms, and for the long-term health of our political institutions,” the National Review editorial board writes.

3…………> A Climate Catastrophe: The Last Warning
How can an ordinary person help reduce global warming rate of growth to less than 1.5 Celcius? Lifestyle changes can make a big difference, said Dr. Debra Roberts, the IPCC’s co-chair who kindly listed the steps below:
1. Buy less meat, milk, cheese, and butter and more locally sourced seasonal food – and throw less of it away.
2. Drive electric cars but walk or cycle short distances
3. Take trains and buses instead of planes
4. Use video-conferencing instead of business travel
5. Use a washing line instead of a tumble dryer
6. Insulate homes
7. Demand low carbon in every consumer product
Nations must follow the stringent limits as postulated below:
1. Global emissions of CO2 need to decline by 45% from 2010 levels by 2030
2. Renewables are estimated to provide up to 85% of global electricity by 2050
3. Coal is expected to reduce to close to zero
4. Up to seven million sq km of land will be needed for energy crops (a bit less than the size of Australia)
5. Global net zero emissions by 2050
How likely is that the world would listen to all these warnings? Unfortunately, history tells us that humanity learns only through pain, hunger, cold and fear, hence buy a quarter acre lot in cash on your daughters’ name, and on a high hill, then start digging a deep tunnel in preparation of then next world-wide catastrophe.
P.S. Make sure you have a large caliber shotgun and plenty of ammo, just in case.

5…………> America, The Land Of The Free: Except “Trumpies”
A television reporter named James Burner lost his job at KTTC-TV, an NBC affiliate outlet in Minnesota, after he was seen wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat while covering one of US President Donald Trump’s recent rallies. According to the TV station’s management, Burner effectively violated their standards of neutrality by wearing “partisan political campaign clothing” emblazoned with Trump’s campaign slogan.
”Our newsroom’s standards of professional journalism do not allow our reporters to wear partisan political campaign clothing while actively covering a political campaign event for the television station,” KTTC-TV news director Noel Sederstrom said, as quoted by The Washington Times.
“We work hard to be neutral and unbiased toward all political parties and candidates.”
Do you believe all that crap? In French this is called a “bullshit”, if you excuse the expression.
