They were charged in connection with their MS-13 gang activities, including violent crimes in aid of racketeering; use, carry and possession of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence; and conspiracy to commit murder in aid of racketeering.

USS Harry S. Truman, along with other surface ships from Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 8, performed multiple live-fire exercises, proving the capabilities of both Sailors and equipment.
During the exercise, three drone aircraft were used to simulate enemy missiles being fired at Truman from shore. USS Normandy intercepted the first and second, firing two Standard Missiles, while Truman utilized its Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) system to destroy the third.
